Product works as advertised and adds great value to our daily lifestyle
I have owned both Luxe Bidet Neo 110 and Neo 180. My parents have purchased the Neo 110 as well. The 110 comes with a single knob and the 180 has a few added options in the controls, but the components and build are the same. These are fantastic products enabling hands-free, hygienic, and low-cost cleaning with negligible added burden to maintain.Plastic Parts:Other reviewers have complained about the plastic T-adapter frequently. It is plastic and therefore of lower quality than metal T-adapters. If this is a concern, the metal adapters are available [1]. For me, this wasn't a major issue. I did find a leak once, on the Neo 180 after using it for about 8 months. I unscrewed the T-adapter, and screwed it back in, which stopped the leak. I am guessing I might have to do the same every few months; an acceptable hazard for the benefit this bidet provides.Water Pressure Control:Getting the right amount of water pressure in first try is an art. This is as true with these bidets as it is true for many overhead showers with pressure control option. This is just by nature of plumbing products available today. The designers of Luxe Bidet could upgrade to have even better pressure control but I do not believe there is a one-size-fits-all solution that is easy to do. Every building is setup differently, and if this is a significant issue in yours, I recommend pressure regulator units for the entire toilet to control the water pressure to your desired level (these units can increase pressure too).Fitting Under The Seat:This was perhaps my biggest issue. These bidets are fitted under the seat on the same screws that hold the seat. I ended up fixing it too firmly against the back of the toilet pot. As a result, every time someone sat on the seat, the plastic water valve of the bidet hit again the back until it cracked completely. The place where you screw the bidet has a long slit such that you can adjust this right. I didn't read the manuals so I do not know if there was a warning anywhere about this, but I would like to pace a disclaimer here (see below). The only thing I could do is replace the Bidet.Overall, I still think this deserves 5 stars. It is intuitively easy to install, such that I didn't need to read anything before doing it. Even if you have no experience with hands-on plumbing, as I am, the T-valve is just about screwing the fittings on both ends. Ultimately, the spray works as advertised, and there are no serious concerns with durability outside of the usual wear-and-tear of similar plastic-based products that go in the bathroom.Warning: Do not screw the bidet too firmly against the back of the toilet pot. There should be enough clearance for friction.[1] Luxe Metal T-adapter with Shut-off Valve, 3-way Tee Connector, Chrome Finish, for Luxe Neo Bidets

it's a shame to have to go anywhere but at home!
First off I'd say that my toilet paper consumption has decreased dramatically. At minimum a 60% reduction, maybe as much as 90% less because I really only use it now for drying off.The bidet is so wonderful I (serious here) have even invited friends over to poop and try it out. I find myself annoyed if I have to poop anywhere but home, and when I travel I look forward to returning home to my bidet. I feel that it does a better job cleaning than even meticulous toilet paper and moist wipes. Quite by accident I discovered that on occasion, when the user's body is positioned at the correct angle and under the right conditions (which I'm still not quite sure of) the water will actually find its way into the hole for a bit of an internal rinse-out.I agree with the consensus of other reviewers - the water pressure is excessive and perhaps a bit dangerous anywhere beyond the very lowest settings. This is only a negative if someone isn't aware and just jacks the switch all the way on without any caution. Another possible negative is that it very slightly reduces the space at the back of the toilet bowl, so for standing male urination, this gives guys a bit smaller area to aim at. In this household the benefits for the bidet FAR outweigh the possible negatives. The installation was really a cinch, I don't think it even took me 6 minutes to complete start to finish. I have the TOTO MS853113-01 Ultimate Round One Piece Toilet http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0018LB7C0/ref=oh_details_o07_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which is about as close to the wall as the bidet manufacturer's website specifications indicate. It fits very nicely with comfortable room to spare. And the toilet seat (one of the slow-close kinds) needed no adjustment at all. It operates perfectly and with no noticable difference from when the bidet wasn't there. Some reviewers have mentioned the need to use toilet seat bumpers but this was not necessary for me.This bidet _IS_ the way to go. It's inexpensive, seems to be well-made and durable, and it truly does its job well.
