So Small! I bought it as a Christmas gift for an aspiring detective, but it was so tiny. My bad for not reading the specs, I guess. Never gifted it so I can't attest to the product itselt.

Couldn’t get this to work at all.

This set is very small and a bit disappointing to give as a gift.

This was cute and fun for my big kid, 9yo. She and her friend did it together and enjoyed it. She's going to do it with her grandparents too and share the fun with them too.

The Thames & Kosmos Fingerprinting Kit is a lot of fun and provides an engaging way to explore fingerprinting. However, it only comes with a small amount of tape—just 8 pieces—and since each fingerprint requires a piece, you’ll run out quickly.Luckily, if you add your own tape, there’s plenty of powder included to do lots more fingerprints. We used regular packing tape, and it worked great with the included powder. Just be prepared for a tiny bit of a mess; however, putting down a paper towel before you start makes cleanup easy.
