Nice chair
It's a nice chair, very sturdy, but it was extremely hard to assemble. Definitely need 2 people.

Looks great, ideal occasional chair.
I ordered the black velvet. It looks great, was easy to put together. It could use more cushioning on the seat. Probably best for light or occasional use, rather than something you plan to sit in for long periods.

AMAZING!!
I absolutely love these chairs I got one in green and one in white and they look fabulous and are comfortable. For the price there’s absolutely no way they can be beat and they’re really sturdy and high quality

Revised - Got an irritating dud but it was replaced
UPDATE: Customer support was very kind and reached out about my issues and explained that the chairs are hand made. They noted that I may have received a dud and asked for a chance to make things right, and I received a second chair to compare. This one was very easy to put together in comparison and only took me 20-30 minutes, as opposed to 2 hours from last time. It also does not rock around. There were no splinters and all the screw holes lined up properly this time so it seems to have been truly a one-off issue. I appreciate that they were very responsive and helpful.I've updated my rating to be a 4/5 because of this. I still maintain that I think it's a beautiful chair, albeit with less low back support than some others, and that any issues you may run into are taken care of well by the customer service team.Original review (2/5 stars):I don't know if I just got a bad chair or something, as everyone else seems fairly happy with it. My chair had the following issues:- wood was not well finished, the flat surfaces had some large splinters (not too noticable at a large distance but would not hold up to close inspection) and along the holes there are many small splinters- somehow, 6 out of the 8 screw holes on this thing didn't line up properly so it was a right donkey to wrestle with to get it to finally fit into a semblance of something stable, and that's after I straight up didn't screw on two of the screws (thankfully the others are holding it together stably enough)- the legs are uneven so i have a piece of paper underneath one of the legs to stop it from doing that- it was incredibly hard to get the first two screws in on the instructions. there was just something about the socket bit that evaded it being threaded together- the L shaped hex key wrenches it came with are uncomfortable to use, since you have to use a considerable amount of force near the end to tighten everything - it's not impossible, but if you have a different toolbox at home, try to use that instead- if you have short legs (am I that short? I'm 5'4, I thought that was pretty average? I'm not winning any pageants for sure but plenty of people are 5'4...) then you are going to have no lower back support with this chair alone and find this very uncomfortable. I did throw a lumbar pillow onto the chair after I was done and it did make it a lot more comfortable though.- it came with exactly the number of screws and pieces you need to put it together. this is not really a negative but do try to not lose any pieces once you have it in your hands.Forgive me for griping, but I've put together a lot of flat packed furniture in my life all by myself and have never had a single problem before. This chair was way more frustrating than Ikea has ever been. Maybe I just got a chair with low quality control on the hole placement. In the end it did come together beautifully (if I ignore the uneven leg) and the green is deeper than in the product photo (it's the lush green you're imagining in your head that goes perfectly with all your plants and wood furniture, yes). I hesitate to make it a 1/5 stars entirely for that reason alone, even though I was so irritated putting it together.

Suitable seating solution
It is a cost-effective choice for the occasional need for extra seating in my office. Stylish, sturdy and easy to assemble with little effort. It is not a chair I would sit in all day, the padding is firm but thin. The wood finish is smooth and slightly glossy.
