Attractive and functional gazebo
This gazebo’s quality of materials is excellent for its price point. Fortunately all of the parts were intact and all pieces/screws, etc. aligned perfectly. As other reviewers stated there are many parts and you must follow step by step. I thought the privacy curtain would be thicker material but it is sufficient and serves as an effective sunblocker as well. When zipped up the privacy curtain it is not totally taut and the panels do move with the breeze. The khaki color is a lovely lighter neutral shade and looks very nice. The gazebo’s quality and size provide effective shade throughout the warm/hot sunny day. Now that the gazebo is up we will definitely enjoy it. Kudos to anyone who can put this gazebo together single-handedly. IMO definitely two people and a well-charged drill gun! Highly recommend if you’re up for the assembly challenge.

Great gazebo
We recently added the LAUSAINT HOME gazebo to our patio, and wow what a difference. This thing is solid. The frame feels incredibly sturdy, and the double roof design actually works great for airflow. Even on hot days, the space under the canopy stays pretty comfortable. The smoke grey color is super sleek — neutral but modern and it instantly made our backyard look more put-together. The included mosquito netting is a total game changer. You can enjoy dinner outside without swatting at bugs every two seconds.Assembly isn’t the quickest task (definitely a two-person job), but the instructions are clear, and once it’s up, it’s rock solid.

Sturdy and stylish gazebo
We got the 8x8 gazebo and so far we're impressed with the quality. Assembly was easy enough. Just took our time and made sure we were using right pieces in right places, etc. Definitely speeds things up to have the Allen wrench attachment for the DeWalt so you don't wear your hands out with the little Allen wrench included with the gazebo.Full disclosure - by far, the most difficult part of assembly was stretching the canopy onto the frame. The small section at the top, used to vent the gazebo was really pretty ridiculous. I'm usually a mild mannered guy but that small section of canopy was causing spontaneous outbursts of profanity so intense, I thought I had crossed over to the dark side. Definitely rated R for language, so assembly requires 18+ :-) Ultimately ended up using a hack saw to cut about an 1.5 inches off of one of the metal tubes, filing the edges smooth, then replacing the plastic cap. Once I had done this, you couldn't even tell that I had cut the tube visually, and I was finally able to stretch the canopy over the frame, still requiring a lot of effort though. Suffice it to say it's tight and not coming off. It's very sturdy. We've had other gazebos through the years and many did not withstand much wind before either the canopy would rip or the frame would be compromised. Since building this one, we've had at least two severe storms with gusts 50+ mph. This thing took it like a champ. No damage whatsoever to the canopy or the frame. It's really a stylish gazebo too. We live in a condo and can't attach or anchor to anything, so we ended using large planter pots, bolting each of the four legs to the bottom of each planter, then placed two sandbags in each planter, covered by loose stone. It looks great and is completely adequate for keeping the gazebo safe and unmovable, even when faced with 50+ mph winds, as mentioned before. This gazebo is the perfect size for our small patio and it's just what we were looking for to provide shade during the heat of the day. Like I said, we're impressed and so far, wouldn't hesitate to buy again. I'd just be smarter about stretching that canopy onto the frame.

Good!
Well, putting it together was an interesting time. I’m sure if you have 3-4 people to help it would be a lot easier to put together. I do have to say it’s worth it. I love the look. It’s sturdy. The wind hasn’t really bothered it. I don’t plan on taking it down in the winter, fingers crossed.

Best shelter we've had in 20 years.
Return or Replace Policy – we purchased the extended 3-year protection from Asurion, available in the Amazon process.Packaging & ContentsThe gazebo arrived very well-packaged, with all components securely packed and protected. Every piece was clearly labeled with a sticker, which made it easy to verify that nothing was missing. I checked the contents against the list provided, and everything was accounted for.Assembly ExperienceThe instructions consist mainly of pictures, which can be a bit challenging to follow. Written instructions alongside the images would have been extremely helpful and likely would have sped up the assembly process. You’ll definitely need at least two people for assembly, and I recommend three when assembling the main structure. Laying out all the parts and unpacking took about an hour, and the full assembly required an additional 2–3 hours.Materials & Build QualityThe materials are excellent—both the frame and the fabrics feel durable and high-quality. The fit of the parts is generally very good, and the zippered corners on the canopy make it easier to fit the fabric over the roof structure. However, the top roof (smaller) canopy lacks a zippered pocket on one of the corners, which made it impossible to get the last corner on; it really needs about 2 more inches of stretch. It did not fit. Both the top and bottom canopies could stand to be a bit larger, as they felt quite tight during installation. We’ll see how it does with high winds.Design & EngineeringThe gazebo is very sturdy and well-designed, especially the dual curtain system for privacy and insect protection. However, the expansion bolts included came with no instructions, and there were only two per column. I opted to use my own 1½” lag bolts per column for a more secure installation to our wooden deck.Overall ImpressionPros:• Excellent quality materials• Sturdy construction• Thoughtful design features (like zippered corners)• Attractive, elegant blue color• Comprehensive packaging and clear labeling• Compared to other shelters we’ve purchased, this one is far superior in every way.Cons:• Assembly instructions could be much clearer with written steps• Top and bottom canopies need to be slightly larger for easier installation• Expansion bolts lack instructions and may not be sufficient for all surfaces. And there needs to be 4 bolts per column in order to secure the shelter structure to a wooden deck.Final Rating: 4.9 out of 5With just a few minor improvements—mainly to the instructions and canopy sizing—this gazebo would be perfect. As it stands, it’s a fantastic addition to any backyard or garden. So far, so good. We’ve only had it for a few days.
