Good price, but you'll need to buy twice as many
So first, the good: The price is great and the dual battery charger is really convenient. The bad though is that the mAh rating on this batteries is really optimistic. They're supposed to be slightly higher then the OEM GoPro batteries (1200mAh vs 1180mAh), but the real question is "How long do they last?"So I have 4 of the Wasabi Power batteries and 2 OEM GoPro's and did a test using my GoPro 3+ Black at 720p Wide. In each case I put in an empty microSD card, a fully charged battery and told them to start recording. I let them run until the power ran out and then looked at the .MP4 files and added up the recording times. Note that my OEM GoPro batteries are *older* then the Wasabi Power batteries, so in theory, the advantage should be Wasabi.GoPro 1: 2hr 30minGoPro 2: 2hr 20minWasabi 1: 1hr 9minWasabi 2: 1hr 30minWasabi 3: 1hr 4minWasabi 4: 0hr 50minAs you can see, there is a clear pattern here: the OEM GoPro batteries last about twice as long on average. I'll definitely be buying the OEM batteries in the future.

Charger melted. Hopefully a fluke defect.
First time charging batteries the charger melted 15 minutes into charging and no longer works. Hopefully this is a rare defect. Will update when I hear back from the company. The battery's appear to function fine.

Great deal for GoPro batteries and duel charger
Great deal for GoPro batteries and duel charger. The batteries run at least as long if not longer than the OEM batteries. I bought a spare one of those some time back since I primarily use the GoPro for filming underwater while scuba diving. It seems that my 3+ black doesn't always last long enough for 2 dives which is the typical dive trip. I usually swap the batteries between dives just to make sure it doesn't die when there is something very interesting to shoot. Having the ability to charge 2 batteries at once is great. Much better than my single battery wall charger which requires monitoring, swapping out and is a pain since I'm usually using it while on vacation. For the price, the charger alone would be good. The batteries are good quality not like a made in China knock off replacement I thought I'd try while purchasing various GoPro accessories from a vendor. That battery doesn't even last one dive! Dives usually are 45-60 minutes plus a little time getting into and out of the water with the camera on.

2nd Generation Bundle Excellent Performer
Hero 3+ BLACKI tested Device in water proof case sealed so heat could be generated ,By doing so provides real world use putting more work on battery.Device started running warm at 30min mark with no hotbox = GOOD STUFFTotal Run time - 2 Hours 24 seconds.1080p 60fps total record time 1hour 50 min.Device Wifi enabled for 10 minutes 24 seconds synced to Android Device.Bottom LineGoPro batteries are great but found Wasabi to be better providing 10-15 min more run time & ran much cooler

Woah, needs safety circuits / instructions
So I clipped the batteries into the 2nd-Gen New Dual Charger, hooked up the wires to the wall wart (2A slot), and put the wall wart into my US electrical wall socket. BIG SPARKS from the wall socket prongs as I stuck it in, as 2 Amps at 120 Volts (that's 240 Watts, or two 120-watt light bulbs) hungrily licked out and established a charging circuit. Not healthy for the electronics, and a bit unsafe for the surroundings. We Are Not Doing Arc Welding Here. Consumers WILL connect stuff in random order unless properly trained. (1) Company should build a 3rd generation charger that understands when it is being stuck into the wall, and uses solid-state relays to connect the load safely AFTERWARDS. (2) In the meantime, company should stress the order of: 1. Plug wart into wall; 2. Hook up wire with charging box; 3. Only THEN snap batteries into charger. Good luck, and HTH.

!!FIRE HAZARD!! - Came w bloated unusable battery, sparking/popping plug they want to charge me to replace
Not a bad kit except one of the batteries came bloated/expanded like it's going to explode and does not even fit in the GoPro. Will update on customer service.Oct 11/2016 - Talked with customer service, sent pictures and they sent me out a new battery within a week or two. Plus - I didn't have to send the other back, just dispose of it.Aug 9/17 - Charging plug is sparking and making loud popping noises. Contact customer service and said I need to pay to replace it. Last time I checked, having a product that is a fire hazard isn't something the customer should pay to replace. Less than a year old.

1 yr old batteries and can't record for 1 hour!!
Total bummer... My son races dirt bike hare scrambles. It's exactly a 1 hour race. The last 2 races, when he's come across the finish line, his Gopro 3 is dead... I literally turn it on when he's on the starting line maybe a minute before the green flag waves. Not using wifi either. This should not be too much to ask. And I purchased these batteries almost exactly a year ago today.

Batteries have expanded!
I ordered 2 sets of these, first with the charger where they both stick up and then with the newer style charger. Well out of the 4 batteries I only have 1 that I would trust to use and that's even iffy based on my experience. The other 3 batteries have expanded so much I can barely close the battery door! LiPo's are dangerous, they could be ok slightly expanded but it's not worth the risk to me. I've taken all of my GoPro Wasabi batteries out of commission and will be ordering actual GoPro batteries. I use Wasabi batteries in other devices and love them but for some reason these aren't working.
