My daughter is 10 and we ordered the size 10-12. It is so hard to find clothes that are comfortable, age-appropriate, and don’t age her beyond her years. These fit so well and look very nice without sacrificing comfort. She loves them and I love the way they look. The material is very sturdy and has been holding up well with lots of wear and washing.

Denim color, but softer and thinner than jean shorts. True to size, nice elastic waist band for easy dressing and comfort. My kid hates the feel of actual jeans but tolerates these well and she can move in them.

Overall, liked these shorts. They do run a bit big so my daughter will just have to save them for next summer, but they are cute and thin/lightweight. (Not sheer tho) Good price for a quality set of girls shorts.

I bought these shorts for my 10-year-old granddaughter, and they are perfect! The length is great for school, and they wash well without losing their shape. Very cute but short.My granddaughter is between sizes so I wish I had ordered up a size. They are true to size but order up if your child is in a growing spurt or between sizes.
