Ymo Usa & Yellow Magic Orchestra

Amazon.com Services LLC really have a serious staff problem... I'm living in Chile, we are very far and is expensive to bring things here. The label in the box says YMO album, but some $%&& shipped whatever found instead. Is so expensive to ship it back for a refund. This is why sooner than later these $%/% will be replaced by machines.

Wow, some interesting unexpected turns.

This is an excellent product combining two albums one the US the other Japan (I think) but with the same tracks and different mixes. This is common for YMO as they acquired electronic gear as they did different live performances.The packaging is outstanding. The pressing is excellent sound quality is rich and textured so no complaints.One last thing to say- the front cover is a true work of art cited in album cover books so much so that it is worthy of buying even if you do not on a turntable, just frame it.

Servicio tan rápido que incluso llegó antes de la supuesta fecha de entrega, y eso que esta vez el servicio no era de Amazon Prime, quienes suelen ser los más rápidos, pero el disco me llegó mucho antes que la mayoría de las tiendas que encuentras en este sitio.Por cierto, el álbum recopilatorio "YMO" de la Yellow Magic Orchestra es bastante recomendable. Recoge algunos temas que fueron publicados en álbumes en vivo ya descatalogados o cuyas copias por estrenar se venden por un ojo de la cara, y otros temas en estudio que, en general, son buenos pero, normalmente, no suelen aparecer en compilaciones.Sólo me quejo de dos aspectos:1º.- Los temas "Technopolis" y "Cue" no estaban en el tracklist del CD.2º.- Que no se haya vuelto a re-editar este 'best of'.Los mejores temas: "Firecracker" (US mix), "Cosmic surfin'" (US mix), la versión en vivo de "Tong Poo" con su extraordinario solo de guitarra, la versión en vivo de "Day tripper" de los Beatles, "Mass", "Camouflage", y "Epilogue".Postdata: La copia que recibí no era un CD, sino un blu spec-CD, que es un disco compacto compatible con reproductores de CDs normales y de discos blu-ray. Fue un chollo encontrarlo por 18€, porque normalmente los blu spec-CD se suelen vender caros.

Queste riedizioni degli YMO (con Ryuichi Sakamoto) sono incredibili. Ottima qualita audio, dinamica davvero buona, ottimo packaging. Music On Vinyl ha fatto un buon lavoro. Rapporto qualita prezzo super buono. Raccomandati!!Disco in se un must have.

どういう経緯でYMOがMusic On Vinylから再発されるようになったのかは不明ですが、最後のAfter Serviceまでいく予定だそうです。一応オリジナル盤（アルファＡマーク）仕様になっています。当時ものライナーノーツもついてます。おそらく日本人限定、それも40～50歳台狙い撃ちというニッチな企画で自分のところに来たのは226番。初版1000枚は透明ディスク・・・・と、ここまではいい。コレクター欲をそそるところでもある。肝心の音質が寂しい。デジタルマスターから起こしたんだろうなという音色。日本国内であれば、カッティングも音質も良好なオリジナル盤or セカンドプレスがヤフオクetc で帯付きで安価に入手できるので、そっちがおすすめです。なにせ、当時の地方在住・小中学生までＬＰを購入していたほど、「BGM」あたりまではバカ売れしてますからタマ数は豊富です。結果としてクリアビニールしか価値がない、という結論に。
