Not waterproof
Installed on an uncovered in-ground natural gas grill. Worked great until first rain. Water in battery chamber. If I do this again I'll try plumbers silicon grease on the button threads to seal it.

This was a some-modification-needed replacement for the igniter on our Blackstone griddle. It works great, though. Good solid spark!

Works as it should
After adding a battery (it doesn't come with a battery) it gives off a really nice spark... I am using this one in a stand-up outdoor propane heater. This will get the job done!
