Super well made and really does a great job
This is a great rake for removing thatch. My daughter tried it out and immediately purchased one for her yard. Super nicely made. Works on dead grass, thatch better than any rake we have had.

Want to buy your last rake ever? Want a great tool. Buy here !
This is the best rake money can buy hands down. Shipping is fast, item made extremely well and in the USA 🇺🇸 !!!! I bought the hedge version too and these are the most versatile and useful tools in my yard/lawn tool collection. I gave my neighbor mine so I’m on here buying another one. This will likely be the last rake I ever buy (unless I do some more gifting)

Amazing
The amount of dead grass this brings up is insane! It’s lightweight but beware this job is labor intensive. Don’t throw away the small nail it comes with and watch a video on how to put it together before use.

Excellent quality
I love this rake, it's very sturdy. And for pulling moss out of the lawn, it works much better than the standard dethatching rake I bought at Home Depot, which pulls out a lot of grass. Like any dethatch rake, it takes a lot of work to remove moss from a lawn so you wouldn't want to dethatch or remove moss from an entire lawn using it. But it's great for spot applications.

Great pine needle rake if modified
Pros: lightweight but still durable. Rakes pine needles with minimal clogging. Work well raking over rock landscaping. Replaceable parts available.Cons: Expensive. Tends to dig in or disrupt ground in current configuration. Pin used for attaching handle to head is a joke. With very little use it will cause hole in plastic head and/or fiberglass handle to become worn and loose. More plastic in that area of head is needed plus a bolt needs to go through to other side to make handle attachment secure.I bought this rake specifically for raking pine needles that fall over decroative rock landscaping. Needles clog up tines in all other rakes I have used. I need to point out that I modified the rake so the head is at a 30° angle to the handle. This places the tines at a less angle thus not digging up the rocks and less likely plug up with needles. I know this rake is on the pricey side but if the manufacturer would add an adjustable head to handle device. I also drilled the hole in the head through the underside and used 1/4" bolt and nut for a more stable attachment. Sorry, couldn't get a photo of modification to upload.

Amazing on dead grass; see note on video on assembly
I will repeat the other reviews that this is awesome; just see info on a link to an assembly video below (very easy, only a hammer needed, but the video is EXTREMELY helpful). We have areas of old dead grass and my typical plastic leaf rake is useless on it, and the metal sawtooth rakes would just rip up the lawn. I can’t believe how much dead grass is coming up, and without removing live grass. I have a big lawn so it’s pretty daunting to rake by hand, but we also have pine trees and will be looking forward to using in the fall. Google “Groundskeeper Ii assembly” - there is a video by Silver Cymbal, about 4 minutes. He explains to put hand cream on the top of handle, line up the holes, position the pin, and pound in with hammer. Was super easy, once I viewed the video - that guy probably saved me a lot of aggravation.

Manual work but gets the work done.
I wasn't prepared to get amazed by this product. Its a little work but it gets the work done. You can clearly see the soil in this picture and that is due all the dead grass being removed.Definitely worth the money.
