Amazing results
This book has helped my flexibility, and I have moved from walker to cane to almost no cane. My muscles are stronger and able to handle the day to day walking I need to do. It is nice to walk without equipment to assist and I can enjoy the outdoors like one should. Thank you.

Stretching with Jim!
I love the book as much as I do the other books that James has written. I think Jim might actually be stalking me and seeing where I struggle with my routines because every time I need help or guidance with something he publishes something to help me. This is no different. Easy to follow and understand and exactly what I need. I can't wait to see and feel the results as I really am stiff all the time and I know it's because I never stretch...Thanks Jim for another book. You have helped me add years to my life. Really, you've helped me so much on my health journey.

Aging with body aches
I spent 4 years in the Marine Corps, jogging, lifting weights and Tae Keon Do. Over the years, my muscles have locked up. This is the plan I needed. Thanks James!

‘Stretching - a form of exercise in its own right’ - Excellent instruction from a fine coach!
British certified fitness coach and author James Atkinson has published sixteen valuable books on his advice for encouraging good health – books that explore fitness and good physical health – and now he extends his expertise and wise counsel about the often-overlooked value of stretching as an adjunct to mobility and flexibility. The impact of this new book is well reflected in his opening statements: ‘Mobility and stretching go hand in hand. If we are flexible, can move and hold our bodies in certain positions that challenge the muscles, these muscle groups will strengthen over time and give us more potential for better posture, general fitness and wellness along with a strong foundation to build other fitness goals from, such as resistance training, or other aerobic activities.’With excellent graphics that supplement his illustrations and teaching (and a fine section on a health check before starting), James takes us through stretching exercises for ankles and calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, lower back, abdominal, chest, back biceps and forearm, and triceps, all clearly worded and illustrated with figures that show the muscles involved. Additional assistance is provided through suggested ways to manage routines, All of James’ books provide supportive encouragement to the reader for achieving and maintaining fitness, delivered in a user-friendly manner. This is one of the finest books for realistic, informed and results-producing fitness books this reader has encountered! Very highly recommended.
