This is the only chicken soup mix that I can find that has not only no MSG but no onions or garlic! It's ideal for those who prefer low-fodmap diets. There is quite a bit of salt in the powder, but I'm not on a low-salt diet, so it's not an issue for me. I use about 1 tsp per pint of water when I'm making my daily soup for lunch, and it has just enough flavor without being too overpowering. I think the instructions say 1 tsp for 8 oz of water, and that would be a great ratio for a stronger flavor. The jar is easy to scoop from until you get to the bottom half, at which point I usually transfer the contents to an 8oz canning jar for easier access.I'm so happy that this is available on Amazon, and I have it on Subscribe & Save, so I never run out - it's just that good!

SO tasty! I am vegetarian and also intermittently fast, this has been amazing way to “ease” back into meals without upsetting my stomach. Great product!

Best flavoring without gluten, garlic or onion.

I have stomach problems and can’t have garlic or onion powder seasoning this has great flavor and I have used it to make gravies and sauces for different recipes. However it is a bit salty so if you decide to purchase/use it either cut back on your salt or leave it out entirely this seasoning will more than make up for it

I had high hopes for this because it’s the only chicken soup base I can find that isn’t full of ultraprocessed ingredients and yeast extract. But this is absolutely disgusting. I think they must use expired chicken meat or not clean their equipment often enough, because this tastes strongly of rancid chicken fat. You know that stink that old chicken gets? TAnd there’s none of that delicious chicken soup flavor I am looking for in a chicken soup base. If you’re not sensitive to bad smells, you might like this. My friend recommended it to me, and when I gave her my review she said she could smell that smell but it didn’t bother her. I gave her the rest of my container, because for me it ruins anything I put it in.

For those who are sensitive to gut irritants this product is great! Even for those without sensitivities it tastes good and is easy to use.

Great concept to have a product with no dehydrated onion or garlic. But salt is listed as first ingredient and shows as 29%DV per serving. It tastes more of salt than chicken or anything else. I find it’s too salty to use in other dishes.
