I never thought I'd get excited about a slotted spoon but I have to admit -- I did!! Spoon slots are just wide enough. Hubby wanted a slotted spoon and I got him the PERFECT one. Beautiful craftsmanship. Since he probably won't "share" his, I'll have to order another one for myself. Thank you Faay for producing a quality product.

Very pleased with the high quality finish of the FAAY teak kitchen utensils. They are light and strong. They have a very nice feel to them. Excellent!

Wood is pretty, it's teak, kinda looks like walnut. Handle slightly thick for my preference, but not round so it doesn't spin in your hand. Head is nice and big with a deep scoop. Edges are sharp enough (hard to find with wooden spoons) to scrape the good stuff off the bottom of the pan or skillet. Slots are nice and big if you want to reduce the liquid being served.

Dropped this into the sink along with a handful of other utensils to wash. In that process, it broke! I have hand-washed this item ONCE only and only owned for 1 week. Absolute garbage!

Also easy to clean and absorbs mineral oil well when needed.
