I have a scarecrow owl by Hoont and i love it. It keeps the squirrels off of my deck... they are known to make a huge mess there! My mom LOVES hawks. I know this is an eagle but it looked like a hawk to me so I got one for her. She has an issue with squirrels coming up to and climbing and ripping into her screen. Because this makes a noise and lights up I think it will help a lot. I really love that it is solar powered as well. Very happy with this purchase. Very well made!

You want to know what scares Birds movement because this bird does not move the birds aren't scared of it and you have to get real close to it for it to make any noise I feel like I wasted my money this product did not work to keep the birds away the birds are not as stupid as we may think probably would have been better off buying wind chimes or pinwheel something that moves instead of something that's just sitting there that's my review Thanks

Well it is definitely keeping the birds away. The sounds and ligh seems to work with the sun light, at night It doesnt work, but I guess it is what I needed after all... as long as the birds are away I am happy with the purchase.

I received my garden scarecrow eagle several days ago. So far I have noticed that the sensor only works if I am really, really close to the decoy. Wasnt it advertised as being able to work at 5 feet? I am still testing the product. But if it is just going to work at very close range, I am better of returning and buying the cheaper no sound decoy for half the price.

It’s a wonderful product! I was really worried that rain would ruin it, but it’s been sitting out all spring/summer and we haven’t had an issue even with the 6 inches of rain last week! The only issue I think is that it isn’t very well weighted, so it tips over a lot in the wind. Otherwise the solar powered cawing and flashing eyes work really well! I’m really not sure if it works to keep squirrels away but between this and our windchimes we definitely have less squirrels this year!!

We had a bird attacking his reflection in our window NUMEROUS times a day for 8 days straight. We ordered this scarecrow and just placed it on the ground in front of the window and have not had a single window attack since!! Later this spring, we'll most likely move this guy over to our small backyard garden to protect our tomatoes.

This hawk looks awesome, with good detail over all and is a good size. I unboxed it and placed it in the sun to charge (for the glowing eyes and screech). The glowing eyes and hawk screech worked well for 10 minutes but after that the sound just didn't work. The red glowing eyes still work to this day (3 weeks later) but no sound after that initial in boxing.Overall it's a nice looking bird the only problem is that the pigeons I intended to scare off also like it and hang out with it now. Don't know if the sound would have helped to scarfe them away.

So far so good, no pigeons pooping on my solar panels. My next-door neighbor used to have a lot of pigeons on his roof that went back and forth between his roof and mine. I guess the pigeons moved down the street because they are not here. I mounted it on my roof, my house is a two story and my neighbor is a single story. I have a size-able investment in my solar panels and don't want pigeon poop reducing my electric output.
