Great series.

Good photo summary of the type in service. A lot of familiar photos but some new ones to me as well. The usual section at the end of the book has beautifully done color profiles. This series is light on text, so it's not the book you want for detailed research, but it's useful for its 77 pages of b&w and color photos. A simple paint mask set is included, for larger scales only.

Not much to say except that it contains a lot of photos that can be found online with little effort and in some cases with a much better resolution than what the book offers.No relevant new information, definitely not a historical book but cannot be considered a technical reference either.Some very good color profiles which will appeal to modelers -the included painting masks are helpful but are only a one-time use item.If you can find it for less than $15 then it's an OK purchase. I know I will be dumping this one on eBay pretty soon.
