I bought the Amazon Fire Kids Tablet for my child, and it’s been one of the best purchases I’ve made! It’s super kid-friendly, durable, and comes with a thick protective case that really holds up against drops and rough handling.The parental controls are amazing — I can manage screen time, set educational goals, and choose what apps my child can use. The 1-year subscription to Amazon Kids+ is a great bonus, with tons of age-appropriate books, games, and videos.Battery life is impressive, and it runs smoothly without lag. It’s perfect for learning and entertainment, and my child loves it. Highly recommend for parents looking for a safe and fun tablet experience for their little ones!

Great product overall.
This is a great product for your child. Keep him entertained. I have it locked down to just learning. And my grandchild enjoys every minute of it. With the plastic cover encoding and a lifetime warranty on that, I've had no issues with dropping it. Many times as you do with your children still works great. It's a touch screen that works very well.Very sensitive and the screen size is perfect for a child.

UPDATED REVIEW: 1-star to 3-star
2nd UPDATE: I had to change my rating to 5 stars because the tablet has been great since my last review update. No complaints at all. The sound quality isn't exceptional but for a little kid, it's more than good enough. It's easy for a parent to switch back and forth between kids and adult modes, which is nice. I would recommend to anyone else who buys this not to test it out until it's charged and has had a few hours to update or "warm up," if you will. I'm overall happy with the purchase.UPDATE: After charging the tablet to above 15%, it seems to be working much better. Apps will now load and I am able to download videos. Screen resolution is actually better than expected. I've decided to give this tablet a chance for a couple days before returning it. I changed my rating from 1 star to 3 due to the fact it was initially extremely slow and unresponsive, which can lead many more people into thinking it's just not going to work. If it craps out again, I'll update my review accordingly.(Initial review)* I took a chance on this tablet after reading the reviews, thinking perhaps the people who left negative reviews just didn't know what they were doing. Turns out they were all right....this tablet is crap. It's incredibly slow and the apps don't respond when you try to open them or download a game/video. I'm sending it back today. Save yourself the same hassle and just buy an android tablet.

Awesome Tablet
We got a fire tablet for my Autistic son several years ago and he loved it. Last Christmas we got him this one because his first one stopped working. This tablet was amazing. The cover was so durable and kept it safe despite him dropping it to many times to count. It was a great gift for him but was sadly stolen. This tablet was a great purchase and I will be getting him another one soon just like this one!

Great for Toddlers - Slow at Times
The media could not be loaded. Got this for my 2-year-old and the sound and video quality are great! The video quality is much better than what’s shown in the video, I was primarily trying to show the audio quality haha. It gets loud without headphones but if your little one plugs in headphones it won’t go above at a low, but still very easily heard level.It meets my expectations at the price I got it. It is definitely slower than a high quality tablet but it works great for toddlers. :)

Great entertainment for the kiddo w/ parental controls that are easy to setup
I like that it comes with their apps and parental controls already on it. The first couple of hours the tablet runs slow but that's only because it is setting up and downloading all the kids apps that you select during the setup process. It has great kids learning apps already on the home screen so you don't have to spend all day searching for the right ones. It's size is perfect for my 4 year old toddler and it is light weight with a durable foam cover to withstand the storm that can be my daughter. It has a good screen dimmer for night time so it won't hurt her eyes so overall you cannot find a better product for the price.

Great product
I bought this tablet for my son about 9 months ago, and it has been worth every penny and more. My son is only 1, so he doesn't get to use this often. Usually just on some car rides (I have a few videos that he likes downloaded), and his older cousins like to play on it when they come over. I recently took my son on a 15 hour road trip south, and then 15 hours back north a week later. I was so worried that I was going to realllly regret doing this, but he did great, because of this tablet

Do not judge a book by its cover!
I will admit.. at first i hated this tablet! i was so annoyed with everything about it. It took be about 2 days to get used to it and for my son to as well and we were not disappointed! I love everything about this tablet and the features it has for parental controls! I has since been super easy to use for me and my 1-year-old! Storage has been great! no issues as of yet! The touch screen is easy to clean! and settings are simple! Love this!
