These hat frames are a game changer for washing hats. I never would have thought that a dishwasher could be used for more than washing dishes!! Dirty, sweaty caps come out fresh and clean everytime.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:There are four men in our family and they all wear baseball hats-wanted to be able to do at least 4 at a time. These hat frames snap in place easily-hold securely through the wash-the shape of the hat held as they were air dried.

Did I do something wrong? I used this product in the dishwasher, washed 4 hats. The settings on the dishwasher were "half load". On each hat there is a large white "stain"; the hats are worse off than before I washed them. Ugh.Edit/update: okay, so I ran 1 hat through the washing machine with clothes, a full load. Wow! The hat came out great! So I washed 4 more hats, along with 1 hand towel in a separate load. 3 of the molds came apart so the hats lost their shape. But, they were clean. Perhaps the plastics came apart because it was a small load? I'm not giving up on these though and I'm going to try to bump my rating to 3-star.
