I purchased the dehumidifier in Mar 2024. First of all, the way the machine was packaged for shipping showed me Waykar's excellence in product handling. Then, the design is attractive, the handle and wheels make moving it super easy and the bucket with removable lid keeps me from spilling. The Auto Defrost and Self Drying features make this model the best. And most importantly, the unit is QUIET, efficient and quickly reduces the humidity to the desired level. The unit ran daily for 7 months until we unplugged it for the winter. In the spring everything sounded great, but it was not collecting water. I contacted Customer Service with the date of purchase which was more than 1 year prior and I received an immediate response. I ran a troubleshooting test to confirm that no water was being collected and then Customer Service had a replacement unit at my door within a few days! The unit exceeds our expectations and the Customer Service is beyond superb! Waykar restored my faith by standing by their product and doing so in the most efficient, clear, straightforward and pleasant manner possible. It was an honor to work with Waykar! I'm a customer for life.

Relatively quiet and does job superbly. I am in Michigan and normally begin running my dehumidifier when I turn AC on.This year was different. High temps with high humidity way earlier than usual for MI and it hasn’t abated yet.I am getting an easy 3 gallons/day running on Auto at 45% humidity setting. I use the collected water for plants and laundry. It is just me at home, so it’s difficult for me to use all the water instead of just wasting it.I bought the one with the pump as it was on sale and as inexpensive as the one without. If I ever require that option, I now have it. But I was not going to pay the extra $ just to have the pump; don’t need it. So, were it not for the sale, I would have purchased just the humidifier sans pump.I like that I can control the humidity level by 5% increments. The machine is on wheels and basement is tiled, so that is quite nice, though I usually don’t move it once in place. It will make bringing it into service again and storage when no longer required an easier task, though.Only downside for me is the collection bin. It will be a matter of time before Something breaks. The handle popped out of one side while dumping it. I was using the handle while supporting the base and, enough of a small twist, to pop that handle almist immediately. It is a heavy amount of water when full, so it did not take much. Fortunately, the handle has an easy lock system and placed back in with no difficulty. But it did alert me to a potential weak spot.I’ll keep my fingers crossed and pay better attention while dumping from now on, but it is the easily breakable type plastic, and pretty thin in spots, so we’ll see.No real “spout” or corner to make dumping more easy. It is baffled and in the bottom are 2 channels through the baffling. Helps when removing receptacle, but I did not see any advantage for them for dumping purposes. I suppose if I did not collect the water this would not be an issue.Overall, I am completely satisfied with my purchase.My old one was about 33 years old and, were it not for my neglect on cleaning, would still be going.If this new one lasts half as long, it is still a fantastic purchase in my mind.

I purchased this dehumidifier recently and it performs well in overall, with good moisture removal and quiet operation. Unfortunately, the unit I received seemed to have a factory defect (freezing coils and an unusual smell).What really stood out was the excellent customer service. The support team responded quickly and handled everything efficiently and professionally. I was left very satisfied with the way they took care of the situation.While the product had an issue, their customer service more than made up for it. That kind of support makes a big difference and shows that the company stands behind their products.Would definitely consider buying from Waykar again.

This is such a great dehumidifier for my small (840 square foot) house, really reduces the humidity and does so much quicker and efficiently than another that I had, definitely worth the extra $. It's easy to operate and pauses just below the desired humidity level and starts back up when the level increases. Also turns off when it needs to be emptied, which is very easy to do. It can be set at high, which is a little loud, or low, a softer noise level. My old house no longer smells musty. I highly recommend it!

Purchased this several months ago and am very happy with the performance of the dehumidifier. It is very quiet and with the external hose attachment, it pulls an amazing amount of water from the air without any need to empty the water bin. Also, the warranty service is very good. After several months of operation, it stopped working. I contacted their customer service and they were very responsive in providing troubleshooting and ultimately a replacement machine.

Wow this unit is efficient! We are in deep south Texas and set our smart AC thermostat to hold to a specific temperature and even with ac this unit is removing a lot of humidity. Our weather station was wildly fluctuating and kept showing high humidity UNTIL we bought this unit. It is rated for a much larger space but has been great at keeping the humidity at the level we set it at. We still empty it twice a day but at least now the humidity level is more consistent. We have been amazed at how much moisture this unit has pulled out of the air. It's easy to empty and has a splash guard and nice handle for carrying to the sink. I would give it 10 stars if I could! I highly recommend it.
