I love this product, its big bold and colourful, best of all it tells you the temperature! Lets be clear, this product is for outdoors, you wouldn't want it in your living room. But is perfect for the garden, easily readable and accurate (as far as heat goes) I will have to wait until later in the year for the colder temperatures. This thermometer is far superior to those often found in most garden centres, much bigger and a fraction of the cost!

The thermometer is large and bold and affixed to an outside window using suction pads (top and bottom). The accuracy appears pretty good. On a cloudy day it agrees with the weather forecasts, but on a sunny day it shows a few degrees higher; this is probably because I have a south-facing garden with the sun directly on it. As this was purchased for outside winter temperatures I can live with this discrepancy.I purchased the suction pads on Amazon, but they were hard to find, as it requires a M4 screw thread with a length of at least 1.3cm, most are circa 1cm, which is insufficient. Very good size and read pretty accurately in the house. We hadn't yet used it outside, because after it was delivered, my toddler was looking at the difference in temperature in the living room and kitchen, it slipped out of his hands and onto the kitchen tiles. The thermometer fell out of the plastic surround and broke into two pieces!

Very good product. Is a little larger than I expected, but that's OK. I have used suction cups to attach it to my window, so I can read it from indoors. I used these suction cups: https://www.amazon.co.uk/jlon-Plastic-Threads-Suction-knurled/dp/B0894MZ678, but I needed to make the holes the same on the front and back, as the nail hole was too small to fit the dent of the screw cap in.When the sun is on it, the temperature goes up by 10 to 15°C (June 2023), which is understandable and expected. But I would assume that would occur with any thermometer though.Reading it can be kinda troublesome as one needs to be at a certain angle to see the blue liquid clearly, otherwise it's just a very thin line.

Item delivered was broken. Clear glass indicator in center of thermometer is broken in two pieces. Thermometer will not work. No other damage visible. Was really looking forward to using this....once rain stopped.
