All-In One????
The test starts out with basics and then moves on to specific hardware applications. Anything beyond the basics isn't covered. The title 'dummies' is correct.

Covers everything, plus the unexpected
At 700 pages, this book pretty much covers everything about Python you need to learn. It starts out gentle and has clear explanations and code snippets. I've bought three Python books and I think this one is the best for beginners. What's interesting is that the book talks about some current topics you might not expect in a beginner book, like AI and neural networks. That kind of lifts it above the average beginning programmer book, IMHO.If you're new to Python and just starting out, this is a good choice to start with.

The book sucks
The only good "for dummies" book I have seen was "Linux Quick Reference for Dummies" and I wrote it. If you really want to learn Python get "Python in a Nutshell". It's real.
