I was looking for a protective pouch for my key fob where I wouldn't have to detach it from the the rest of my keys. This pouch is perfect in that when I get home, I can just dump my entire key chain (5-6 work keys, 4 home keys, carabiner, and key fob) into the pouch. With this pouch, I can leave my keys at the front door which is close to where my vehicle is which is why I worried about the doors being unlocked. However, in the case, that is not possible. Even when I carried the case up to the vehicle, the door would not open. It works perfectly!
