Small, but capable with great build quality
This speaker is smaller than I thought it would be (see Zippo lighter for scale) but it is pretty impressive for its size. It is also much heavier than I imagined...not heavy to carry around, but very solid feeling. I love the retro look and especially the lighted tuner dial.It was well-packaged with a usb charging cable, an antenna wire, and a rather garish faceplate that can be used in place of the classic cloth mesh one that it comes installed with. It also has what looks like a guitar pick, but it is a tool to remove the faceplate when swapping them out. Personally I don't think the replacement face looks like it goes with the nice classic styling of the speaker, but to each their own.Controls are simple if a bit small with three knurled brass metal knobs and a small Bluetooth pairing button that I would have put on the back because it doesn't really go with the look of the other knobs, but it isn't very noticeable.Pairing was simple on Android. The sound is surprisingly good for such a small speaker. It doesn't have bass/treble adjustments, but the preset sound is a good balance of both. You won't host a rave with this, but it is able to handle heavy bass lines with no distortion. The volume is decent. Not loud, but loud enough for listening in the same room. I plan to use it for white noise while I sleep and connected to my TV so I can hear without from across the room without having to crank the volume up, but the quality if the sound makes it a good choice for listening to music as well. One minor annoyance I have discovered is that it will power off after about 10 minutes of no sound, even if you didn't disconnect Bluetooth. Since it automatically connects when powered back in, this isn't a huge inconvenience, but if I pause what I am listening to for a few minutes, I have to turn it back on. So far there is nothing really dislike about it though.Overall this is an impressive little speaker and well worth what I paid.

Battery wouldn't charge after first use
Worked great the first time, though it was a bit finicky about pairing- the directions were helpful, dont' lose them. It was in a vacation home, so the second time i went there (after the 30 day refund period ended), it refused to charge. The same cable charged my phone no problem. The speaker didn't even recognize the charging cable was plugged in. Such a bummer because it was super cute and sound quality was decent.

A Cool Little Radio, But
The Trenbader radio offers a mix of appealing aesthetics and satisfactory sound quality. While it's not the best-sounding radio on the market, it delivers decent audio that will satisfy most casual listeners. One of its standout features is its fantastic retro look. The option to switch between a Brazilian oak plate and a gold plate is a cool touch, adding to its versatility and charm. The gold metal dials feel great and are of good quality, enhancing the overall tactile experience.Regarding size, although the product description provided dimensions, I didn't pay close attention. When it arrived, I was a bit disappointed by how small it was, especially considering the price. However, this was more of a personal oversight than a fault of the product.Speaking of price, the Trenbader radio is on the expensive side for what it offers. If you're looking for a radio primarily for its sound, this might not be the best choice. However, it does look fantastic and would make a stylish addition to any office.****On a less positive note, my radio arrived with a scuffed and damaged faceplate. Given the price, I expected better quality control from the manufacturer.****

Stylish, quality radio/speaker!
Love this little radio/bluetooth speaker. Changeable face, mini antenna to get radio signal (but you have to tape it up), pairs easily with my phone. Good sound, but I mainly use for audio books.

It looks nice but doesn't function the same. Overpriced.
The speaker looks great kinda wish it came in green though. Sound quality is decent. Unfortunately for me an issue I keep having is when turning the volume up past 75% on either the speaker or output device (using AUX input) the speaker will turn itself on and off until you turn it down kinda annoying when I want to blast music. There's no distortion though since it won't let you blast music. The size is pretty decent and really easy to use turn a switch and it works. With the way it is and the price I wouldn't really get it even if it's the aesthetic that you're looking for it's just not worth the price.

Objects in image are smaller than they appear
Size in the description is different from size in the images. Image says around 9" long, but actual size is about 5". I've tried to play this trick before in my dating life, and it didn't work as well as this did. Sound quality is good for the price.

What a great speaker/radio!
I first saw this little thing in action at a decorator showcase house in San Francisco. The sound was clear, loud enough, and the thing is attractive and has a cool retro vibe.So I bought it. The sound is better than my Bose Wave. It is small, and I can tune into my fav radio station. Too bad it doesn't have a built in antennae. None the less, it is a really great purchase and worth the price.
