Excellent quality worth the purchase
This has been an excellent cable! Charges quickly and connectivity is excellent, I use it to output display from my laptop to my kvm monitor and it also charges it at the same time. Have not had an issue yet and I've had it maybe for 4 months.Very stiff and durable quality, I don't see this cable breaking anytime soon.

It’s GREAT! Here’s why..
So I try and make sure everything I buy for peripherals and anything routing in and out from MacBook Pro 16” M3 PRO is SOLID and quality. From live podcasts, music engineering sessions, recording content, LARGE transfer files of 4k footage from external SSD, it all needs to work flawlessly for customers, myself and live events.I have been searching for a 6ft thunderbolt cable that will match my official Apple Thunderbolt 4 cable in terms of speed, durability, and reliability. This is it. I wish Silkland would ship in boxes instead of the brown zip type packages so if you have an issue it could be either damage during shipping or a faulty cable and ask for a replacement if that’s the case cause THE SILKLAND THUNDERBOLT cable works great!! Actually a tad bit better than my Apple Thunderbolt cable in terms of speed. Durability we will see and I’ll update this review if anything annoying pops up. So far ABSOLUTELY GREAT! It’s more of a thicker durable feeling than the Apple cable but the Apple Thunderbolt is sliiiiightly thicker but also sliiiightly less mb/s like by 50mbs. I ran tests using Blackmagic Speed Tester and attached pics that are labeled. I’m really really happy with this purchase and the best value I’ve found so far.Sidenote: for those interested in my built ssd it’s a KONYEAD USB4 nvme enclosure(has ASM2464PD chip built in) and using SAMSUNG 990 PRO PCIe 4.0 NVMe m.2 (I recommend using minimum 2TB but you can get away with 1TB. 2TB normally perform better and only cost about $50 more)

Crazy fast shipping! Great cable. Heavy duty.
First of all, I ordered this at like 8pm and it was on my doorstep before 7am the next morning. So, that was amazing. The cable itself is braided and strong (and a little heavy). The length is good and it works perfectly with my 2016 Macbook Pro to connect my power and devices. For some reason the right side ports of my Macbook stopped working yesterday, so I needed a longer cable to reach the left side ports. This fit the bill and works great! The cable is heavy enough that I worried a little bit about it pulling on my port in a weird way, but I just looped it around something and it is working fine. May not be an issue, but it is a substantial cable.

protocol issue - using dock with usb-c switch
i bought this as an extension into a usb-c switch from a Mac mini m4 pro. for some reason, the mac mini didnt like it only when going thru the switch. my macbook was fine.My desk has to accomodate both my HP work laptop, and a personal computer. i have a thunderbolt 3 dock that has two Displayport outs to dual 2k monitors, and eacch computer works thru my dock, but i had to switch cords all the time, which was going to kill the thunderbolt port on the dock eventually from all the wear and tear. so i got a Cabble Matters usb-c thunderbolt 4 switch to change which computer is using the dock. this worked for my macbook, but after recently upgrading to a mac mini, the switch didnt work. Turns out it was this cord. when i seapped out this cord with a Cable Matters thunderbolt4, my setup worked again. i can press a button and everything connected to my dock switches over to the other computer. lifesaver!i'm not technical enough to say this failure is a huge red flag, the cord worked in other circumstances and seemed otherwise to be a decent cord. sometimes, different brands just dont play well in specific scenarios... but also i cant rule out that this cord isnt doing what it claims to be able to do. ymmvi am returning it.Seller contacted me with a solution. pleasantly surprised to deal with someone who stamds by theor product. it didn't work in a unique case but like i said it could have been a real difficult situation that was trying to solve (try to find a kvm with no issues, i dare you)

Excellent Quality Thunderbolt and USB C Cable
I was in need of a high quality 10' Thunderbolt 4 cable for my studio and purchased this cable due to other reviews. I was not disappointed. I have it connected to a MOTU 16A (2025 version) Audio Interface and my Thunderbolt port on my PC. The MOTU unit sends and receives 16 channels of 96k audio, via Thunderbolt 4, at the same time and this cable handles it without issue. I have also used the cable briefly in a USB 3 connection without issue. Highly recommended.
