Works every time
I had lost the original remotes. And sincce my garage door opener went in around 1989 trying to find one that was compatible was a problem. When I saw this remote it looked exactly like my old ones. So I placed the order. I was surprised when they showed up. Looked just like the old ones but about 1/3 the size. The worked out great. They fit in the center console in both cares.Setting them up was a breeze. I just popped the cover off and set the dip switches to match the dip switches on my opener. Worked immediately. Has a great range too. I highly recommend these.

Compact, easy to set up, excellent range, great price
This is an excellent replacement for the OEM large clunky remote for our garage door opener. Setup was simple. The device has excellent range. Much less expensive than other options we researched.

Worked perfectly
Searched high and low for a remote to match our older garage door opener. These worked just fine.

Second revised review.
Followup to two previous reviews. I initially gave this remote a 5 star review when I first got it as it worked fine and was easy to set up using dip switches. After a few months I followed that up with another review of only 2 stars because the remote appeared to lose power. However, shortly after this second review I learned that my 30 year old garage door opener was starting to fail and had to be replaced, and that may have been the cause of my remote not working. I now give the remote a 4 star review, because, although it initially worked fine, I was unable to contact the manufacturer or the seller when I started having problems about whether the battery could be replaced and what the warranty on the remote was.
