This is pretty clearly something that was built in a simulator and never tested in real life before being sold. The construction is too fragile to actually work; it relies on the entire bottle being clamped in place by the ship, which is held on by just 4 attach points. After five attempts, including gluing some pieces together, I was unable to get the model together. And for added frustration, those 300 blue pieces spill everywhere every time you try. Skip this one.

The ship and base are quite fun to build, but the bottle tends to fall apart during assembly unless you're quite careful. Good value for the money!

It was a easy fun build. Took me less than a day to put together. The only issue I have was the build was hard for me to keep the bricks together. Putting the back of the ship kept falling off along with the bottle itself kept falling off. I had to do a couple of modifications with other Legos I had at home to make it work. Took me a couple of hours to go through some of my Legos to connect things onto the bottle. It was a very fun build but only wish that the pieces would stay together without me having to modify them.

So this is the 2nd of the pirate "Ship in a Bottles" I have and I'm hoping for the last one too!!These look amazing! I have the ship in the bottle displayed in front of the full sized ships. The only negative I have on this model is the name plate, wish it had been the skull and crossbones like the other two instead of the Mould King logo.Mould King is one of our favorite building brick sets and we love all of the models from them we've gotten.Overall, I would recommend this set for all of the nautical or pirate lovers in your life.Happy building :)

I bought this to try the Mould King product since Lego is so expensive. This is definitely a cheap option but overall, I’d rather have bought the real one from LEGO.-mine was missing a few pieces-the bottle itself will not connect properly or stay together. My only option is super glue and I’m against that

This product is a GREAT disappointment - it has to be assembled like a puzzle - who has the time to sit for hours trying to figured how to assemble it - if I had know I would NOT have bought it - think twice before buying this product
