Care Touch Ketone Test Strips - 50 Ketone Blood Test Strips for Diabetics and Ketogenic, Paleo and Atkins Diet

This idiot company will not produce these strips, making the meter totally useless.Update: CareTouch & Keto Mojo strips work across the two different brand meters.. so you may find that you can get strips from the other brand

I have three ketone meters; the Abbott Precision Xtra, the Keto Mojo and the Care Touch. The strips for the Precision Xtra are rather expensive; so, I decided to try the other two meters. The Keto Mojo and Care Touch meters appear to be from the same manufacturer: Taidoc. The Keto Mojo is model TD-4279 and the Care Touch is model TD-4206A. The control strips appear to be coded for the meter model.So, I could not get ketone strips for one meter to work with the other. However, both meters were able to use the same glucose strips with similar readings. I also had the ketone strips add a leading 7 to the two digit batch number. When I contacted Customer Service, I was informed that this was acceptable behavior. The manual states that the strips have a three digit code. Either the control strips were mislabeled or the meter is adding a digit to fulfill the three digit requirement. Since I test for ketone level daily the complaint that some people have raised over expiration dates has not affected me. However, I do not think it is really a problem.

My husband has used a glucose monitor for quite some time but since we're both on the keto diet decided to purchase a meter that could read both glucose and Keytone levels. We really like being able to actually see if we are in the fat burning area ! ( ketosis) we love the meter and the only problem we've had is grabbing the wrong strip! LOL! Just had to download a copy of the chart, which you can get online, that shows the numbers on the ketosis scale.😊 Would highly recommend this meter !

These strips are expensive considering that the meter will not let you use the strips longer than 30 days (since you get 50, in order to use these all up, you would need to test several times daily). Also, they are expensive if you are purchasing tehee every thirty days. The meter does not come with a control liquid, and when I inserted the code chip which read "71," the meter read it as "771."

I bought this monitor and it worked great until they discontinued the 10 pack strips. I bought the 50 count for $50 because I had no other choice. Now the reading is off because the code reads 772 but the strips read 72. I checked my husbands ketones and he eats lots of sugar and it read that he was in ketosis. I am very disappointed in this machine. If you have to make a choice go with the Precision monitor. This machine is a rip off. I’ve had it for over 6 months. The first 3 months I didn’t have any issues with it and now I have to buy something more reliable.

Bought this mid-May and each strip worked perfectly. Not sure why all the bad reviews other than those customers aren't reading instructions. My test strips said 771 and when I inserted in the machine it said 71--- this made NO difference in the readings. Both my spouse and I were testing almost daily and the readings were always accurate with what we felt they would be with how our eating habits were. I used these strips for over 30 days and never had an error because they were expired not a single strip was wrong.Great Customer Service!!!!!! Went above and beyond when I had an issue.

I have both this product twice since I bought my Care Touch Ketone monitor. I love the product the only thing I don’t like is every time I log on to order Amazon says it’s out of stock and not sure when it will be in. Some user don’t know how to use the product and complain it doesn’t help those who use it and use it correctly. Don’t but it if you don’t know how to read instructions or use it. It’s very simple.

These strips work great! I've seen reviews about them expiring after 30 days, but it's actually 6 months. Also, there have been reviews saying the code doesn't match, but if you're looking, for example, for 71 and get 771, they still work. Amazon currently has these listed as unavailable due to reports received from customers. If these are the issues you're looking into, they aren't actually issues. Please make them available again... I'm almost out!
