Too cool!
If you're not sure how to use these, do what I did and pull up a couple of tutorials. They are tons of fun. My teenage son who loves a physical challenge is going to love these. They seem strong enough to enjoy the rigors of playing them and of course they sound great.

Plastic slides too much
I love that the string is adjustable and the shakers are large enough to hold comfortably. The shaking also sounds great, it’s quite loud and full. But the plastic material makes it so that the balls slide past each other too much. Which makes the banging sound non existent. Wooden ones are better for that reason. So, unfortunately, Not what I was hoping for.

Fun music makers
These are fun little music makers. We watched some YouTube videos on the proper playing of this instrument and I'm still trying to master it (it's harder than it looks) but they are great fun and have a wonder (not overly loud) sound. Would recommend for any musical instrument lover to give these a try!
