Exposed wire and sewn patches
A spool of this tartan ribbon is $25. That's very expensive for 10 yards of ribbon but I needed it for a wedding. The first 1.5 yards was unusable because there was a SPLICED SEWN SEAM in the middle, the edges were frayed, and WIRES WERE BROKEN AND POKING THROUGH. I would have returned it but I didn't have time for replacement option, just had to eat the loss of yardage. Extremely frustrated.
