Best shelf-stable tamales I've ever found! I love these - I keep one in the car so I can avoid junk food stops. I eat them cold right out of the package. I've tried all the flavors - the habanero is the only one I order now. Has just enough of a zing that it's fun.

These tomales are great, I was thinking about how cool it would be if they had like a thanks giving stuffing tomale and a dessert churro with chocolate bits tomale as like a gourmet gimmick

These are a delicious and filling option for day hikes or as backup snacks to keep in my purse (good even without heating), or as a quick hot meal in a hotel room/B&B or even at home. The bean Salsa Verde is my favorite.

These are handy little treats. I tried one of the Jalapeno and it was delicious. They don't have a ton of "in your face" flavor and are a little oily but I love the balance of protein, fat and carbs. Great for storage bins, go bags and pantry for quick protein fat and carbs in one package with good flavor. I ordered a box each of the Jalapeno and Habanero. I love Habanero so I'm sure those will be good. Better warmed in the microwave than cold but either works. Ones I got are dated through 2025 so you could prep with these and rotate them easily. I have eaten about 4 of these from my stash and they are growing on me. it's a texture thing for people who don't like them or are expecting a huge flavor blast. I'm into them. GREAT vehicle for hot sauce! The habanero ones have a subtle fruity heat that builds. Very satisfying.

I bought the variety pack $28 for 7 making them $4 a piece. This was pretty expensive for tamales but because they were vegan I wanted to give them a try. I was expecting bean filled tamales but was not what I received. The overall flavor and texture was good but I was very disappointed when each “tamale” only had about 3-5 beans. I paid $4 a “tamale” to get a small portion of boil cornmeal with a few beans and some sauce. A normal tamale is $2 each and is much bigger with actual filling. I will never purchase again because I felt fooled into buying it. It’s a good snack but I would have appreciated some honesty from the company of what we were really getting. If you want a quick snack that is a little spicy with a good texture, this is for you! But if you are expecting a vegan tamale, don’t waste your money cause it’s not good enough to make up for your disappointment for not getting what you’re expecting.

I went through bariatric surgery back in August. Now, I've ordered these tamales twice and think they are a great quick meal for me- at 250 calories, they give me just what I need. The flavor is good, though obviously not as delicious as a normal tamale. The convenience can't be beat, though, you can heat them in 30 seconds and take them on the go, eating out of the package. In a pinch, you can also eat them without heating and they aren't bad.
