Truly not for ones with a weak stomach
Where to even begin with this manga? Wow alright, so Super Dimensional Love Gun is a collection of surreal and just mind boggling short stories usually the protagonist being young women each with their own unique characteristic. Such as Miss Tomezuka having an extreme itching fetish which leads to her and her club members scratching themselves to death. It has a very good sense of dark humor such as with the story of “Collecting Loss” in which the protagonist near the end decides not to get an abortion due to be carrying the baby of a God but refuses to come out (Lol). Incredible artwork by the master of Guro himself,Kago-Sensei, and overall a completely Sex crazy, bloody disgusting and brilliant manga.

Basically Surrealist Porn
Uh it's funny and weird. Was not at all what I expected, but I should've looked into who the author was before buying it.It has a lot of surrealist gore and body horror (kinda why I got it, wanted to expand out from reading Junji Ito), but also a lot of the stories are centered around sex, with some of it shown fully, which I didn't expect. Not really my kind of book but I can't fault it for that.

Unnaturally talented
I've always craved for literature that challenges norms and elicits extremely uneasy feelings from the reader. The type that makes the hairs on the back of your neck extend all the way to the wall as you imagine how it feels to have your skin slowly peeled away by your most passionate admirer. The unfortunate events depicted are turned upside down, Kago's dark and surreal treatment of everyday problems will either leave a traumatizing mark on your soul or temper your fortitude for when you encounter far worse and far more bizarre and unbelievable situations. Or both.

Very different
This is such a trippy collection of stories. I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes strange horror.

Good art, uneven storytelling
I was recommended this by a friend who knows I like Junji Ito's work. I get that Kago has his own dedicated fans, and I'm willing to give Dementia 21 a try, but this one wasn't for me.The art is good. I like it overall, and Kago has an undeniably creative talent. But the subject matter is erratic (I get it's a collection of shorts - the ideas seem half baked even per short) and the narrative is disjointed enough that I wondered a few times if I got a misprinted book. Some stories are better than others, and there's a nice, dark sense of nihilistic humor at play, which I appreciate. But when I finished the book, I could barely remember most of it. As bizarre as Ito's work gets, I always have a "wow" moment when I finish his stories (except for the Cat Diary. Dude). That didn't happen here.Like I said, I'm going to try one of his longer form books. This one might not be a good introduction.

I'm glad to see his stuff finally getting properly released
Kago is an original and this collection of stories is definitely for the brave. Shintaro Kago's work would wholly be disturbing if not for his wicked sense of humor. His stories will not only get under your skin, they will tear at it, writhe underneath, and leave you with brain leak. His images are vivid, strange, and surreal for sure. He is totally worth checking out if you are more into the Guro parts of Ero-Guro. His stuff is beyond grotesque but also hilarious and sharply satiric. I'm glad to see his stuff finally getting properly released.
