One of my roommates left behind a street bike when he left and said I could keep it. But I don't trust keeping my more expensive items in my carport, since I have had a theft before.So it has languished in my front entry area for years.I finally, got these things, and it really helps.I know it is probably intended for garages, but it clutters the front entrance nicely, since I am able to hang the bike out of the way.It was very easy to set up, and even had a screw guide for if you had to use the included drywall anchors.I found a stud so I was able to just screw the plate in right away.Only took two minutes and the bike is hanging perfectly. would recommend for anyone with a bike.

Works really nicely. I did decide to mount it to a piece of wood before attaching the wood to the stud. Not sure if it was needed, but I made it look nice and has worked great for me. The construction material seems really solid.
