This does exactly what is supposed to. We have it in the front of our Woodfire stove to help with the heat distribution off of the wood floor. Don’t get me wrong. It still gets hot but it is better to get hot on this instead of the wood flooring. Easy to clean.

This is a great little mat. It is light weight and compact. It is a perfect shape for my griddle. They claimed their stitching is “Meticulous.” Well, they are 100% correct. I went all the way around this mat and checked the stitching. Nothing was out of place, so it is well – constructed in my eyes. This is also extremely easy to clean, the surface does not allow grease to saturate into the material (Which is why I bought it). Right out of the box this floor mat laid flat on the floor with minimal wrinkles. After only 1 day, there were no corners sticking up anywhere for me to trip over it was completely flat.The design of this is simple, the construction of this is superb.

We like to grill out quite a bit, but haven’t had much of a chance this past year.Saw this item and thought, I never thought to get a mat under the grill for protection.It will make clean up easier if you drop something from the grill .

I've had mats like this that are more like a board that is thick enough so if not careful you can trip on them. I got this one because my best friend is getting old and she's having a hard time walking on the hardwood floor. So I have lots of runners down, including one near the woodstove. I was hoping that this wouldn't be too thick (it's nice and thin) nor too slippery (it's not at all). Having the rug in front of the wood stove was a safety issue plus any dirt of wood chips from the firewood got stuck to the mat. Not with this. Everything just sweeps away.It came folded up but once unfolded about 90% of the creases were gone immediately. With in a short time they were all gone. I didn't test out the fime resistant part but it looks like it'll work just fine. It's not too often that a hot coal will find it's way to the floor but has happened. I'm quick to get them back into the stove. I hopefully will never have to find out how long a hot coal can sit on this before the heat damages the wood underneath.

I bought this to go under a small tabletop outdoor electric grill (Ninja Woodfire). It is perfect for that. The dimensions are actually 39.5" wide by 24" (and this side is curved so it is 23" near the edges). This was actually a blessing for me since the table I have this on is 40" wide. Couldn't have worked out better. This means the table is protected and the extra space around the small grill is perfect for catching any mess I make while cooking. I'm guessing this has forever chemicals in it so I certainly wouldn't put food on it. But for my purposes I can't ask for more. Perfect!

This mat works perfectly as described. I did drop a hot coal on the mat and after removing it left no trace or burns. Fairly thick rubbery material and lays flat after awhile. Very good size for in front of a wood stove.

High quality mat without any issues using it under a wooden stove. The surface area is wide enough to cover the heat area of the stove while also preventing embers from falling out around the unit. If one or two ends up being missed, the embers usually burn themselves out by that distance. No warping of the material with heat and definitely sturdy with some heft to the material.

Already ripped doesn’t hold up very well
