So my current job has me working outside for multiple hours in the mountains. I needed a good coat to keep me warm. A coat that would cover my butt and thighs, and I hate wearing hats, so it also had to have a hood. This completely fits the bill.It’s very lightweight, and very comfortable. But don’t let that make you think that it’s not going to keep you warm, because it’s great at doing that as well. Almost feels like I’m wearing a down comforter as a coat. I don’t think that this will suffice in below zero temperatures. You need something a lot more heavy duty for that. But in normal cold weather, including rain or snow, it should do nicely.At just under 5 feet tall it covers me almost down to my knees. That could have caused a problem with sitting or walking, but fortunately it has a double zipper. So I can unzip the bottom as much as I need to, while having the rest of the coat zipped up to my chin.The detachable hood is roomy and warm. And it lays down nicely without bunching or pulling on the coat. The faux fur is a nice touch. My only complaint is that I wish that the hood had snaps on it so that you could close it up at the bottom when you had the hood up.As for the shape of the coat, it’s nicely fitted, but as it’s a “puffer” coat it’s not exactly slimming. But that’s the least of my worries. Amazon recommended me the large, but after reading the reviews I decided to size down. And I don’t regret it. In the medium I have enough room to wear thicker clothing if I want, but it’s not hanging off me like a sack.In conclusion, I totally recommend this if you’re looking for a longer coat with a hood that can keep you warm in reasonably cold weather.

Zipper is exacting so it is difficult to get parts lined up & in place before zipping upwards. Faux fur trim on hood makes it too heavy & pulls hood down over my eyes so I’ve removed it. Top of garnet has sharp edges when zipped. The color is great for me; length keeps my back warm; and Otis a terrific coat to wear when it is cold, windy & raining

I am totally thrilled with this jacket! It is a perfect color for me. It is so lightweight yet very warm! I love the inside fur for the upper part. It also has an inside pocket for your phone! I highly recommend this to anyone!

Honestly, I bought it for the price and color first, then the functionality. I am going on an Alaskan cruise and run cold. I needed something that I could layer up underneath and still have full movement in my arms and not feel like a stuff sausage. This coat exceeded my expectations. It's warm, wind proof and water proof (proven as I took my dogs out in it the minute it arrived and it's windy and 29°f today) and doesn't feel bulky. Underneath. I heavy sweatshirt hoodie and long sleeve shirt under that. It zipped with no problem and fits great. I also feel it's true to size.

Absolutely love this jacket it’s very true to size mean I got the large but in order to layer a sweatshirt under I should have gotten an X-large. I’m 5’5” 167 lbs and a 38D, hope this helps

Overall the body of the coat works wonderfully. Wind will NOT be a problem as it does not get through. It's lightweight, but very good at keeping you warm. The only flaw is the hood. It's useless. There is no way to fasten it to your head so the slightest breeze will blow it off. I just took the hood off and wear a beanie. Other than that the coat is a great buy. Would be 5 stars if not for the hood.

Being Canadian, we are always looking for the warmest coat.I've tried down filled, wool but this coat also stops wind and cold...incredible, also lightweight...but a bargain!!!!

Love the color of this coat (pink) bought med and fits perfectly. Not too big yet roomy enough to wear a thicker sweater underneath. Love it!

So warm and so good looking - and very comfy.

The hood is too wide and not covering the head. Would be difficult to protect from wind and cold weather. A draw string or a protection would be great. Otherwise it is warm and very good.
