I accidentally broke it while cleaning. Definitely user error, not the quality. So, I bought a second one! The jar is a very solid glass and it's a beautiful jar. I use it for holding Chinese fortunes from Fortune cookies which I later gather and place in my journal. it's super functional as a beautiful jar and it is spacious enough to hold like at least a year's worth or more. I found it a great deal for the price and it suits my needs perfectly.

I've been looking for nice little gift for my future mother in law that I don't know much about other than she likes pink and purple. Found a couple of these in those colors, picked this one thinking the shape was pretty enough to stand alone without getting more than 1 item, and over doing the gift. I almost didn't open the box to check it, but glad I did. I almost didn't notice the chipped missing piece because each corner has like a raised pyramid shape so it looks like it's just part of the design until I looked at it in the light. Other than that damage, it doesn't really have like a glass shine to it. It looks a bit like it could be plastic or like it might be textured maybe?? Reminds me of a mirror with a layer of hairspray overspray. Size wise, it's decent. The plan was to fill it with Hershey nuggets. I was able to fit 14 nicely and an extra 3 in the lid. Also the lid isn't that smooth. It doesn't sit evenly.
