Husband developed lymphedema due to reaction of meds. Legs, feet and ankles swelled so much was unable to wear shoes. Fittville shoes solved his problem and I was able to order a shoe long and wide enough to enable him to walk comfortably. The shoes are affordable, look good, easily adjusted for swollen feet and helps you walk comfortably without slipping. I recommend these shoes for anyone who has special needs relating to your feet.

I purchased these because I broke my ankle and had major swelling in my foot. These shoes are comfortable and helped me in my rehabilitation. They're light, provide great stability and support and are a great value for the price. If you're worried about swelling get a size bigger.

My husband has problem feet. Having had edema, he now has one foot that’s longer and wider than the other. So, he often has to size up and put an innersole in the shoe for the smaller foot. Finding a pair of shoes that doesn’t rub around his instep, pinch his toes or slide on his heel is ALWAYS an ordeal. In addition to the edema, he has a high instep. Thanks to Amazon’s “Try Before You Buy” program, he was able to try on a variety of sizes in this shoe. Although he came close to finding an acceptable pair in this style, he wasn’t able to get the width just right - the Wide wasn’t wide enough and the X-Wide was too wide. He tried putting several innersoles in an X-Wide but it raised his foot too high inside the shoe. But, he liked the shoe, especially the reinforced layers on the sole of the heel area that helps prevent turning the ankle. He also liked the way the Velcro straps held the foot firmly with no shifting. Although he had to go with another style, he particularly liked 2 features of this one: the adjustable straps and the large opening for inserting the foot even from a standing position. The only negative would be that the shoe doesn’t have enough innersole support to wear for long hours if you have problem feet. But for walking the dog, quick trips to the store and other errands, it's a great shoe that thankfully comes in a variety of sizes and widths.

My dad loves these shoes. He says his feet don’t hurt and the Velcro tabs make it easy to put them on/take them off.

These are the best shoes if you have neuropathy in your feet. These shoes saved me in a big way. I can now walk around and stand for awhile without pain. I bought 2 pair and just orders 2 more. I'm hoping the tennis shoe will enable me to get back to playing some tennis again. They do run a little small. I'm a 11.5 US so i went to the size 12 extra wide They suggest not washing in the washing machine and don't dry in the dryer. I took a chance and did so because 12's were a tad big, so now they fit perfect and the shoes were not damaged in any way. Thanks Fitville

I took a chance with a brand and it didn't work out. The shoes look great and the size is nice and roomy for wide feet. The comfort of the shoes is okay. It really doesn't have better heel support than a regular pair of shoes though, which was truly a selling point to me.I may have given a three or four star review, if not for the deterioration of the insole within a mere 3 days (pictures included.) So not acceptable. I'll buy some orthopedic insoles to replace the junk ones. This also causes concern for how long the rest of the shoe will last. A week? A month? Hmm.I really wanted this to be a nice pair of shoes. Despite the good look and the decent comfort, I cannot recommend anything that falls apart in such a short period of time. 3 days??!!! That is why I rate these a "1 Star."

My husband has neuropathy and swelling and use to wear these big black clodhoppers that had to be tied. Bought these for him and goodbye clodhoppers. They are adjustable, easy to put on (no laces) and they look good! Only two colors, have both, wish they came in more.

I love my shoes, very comfortable, like the strap system, holding up well over the past year. BUT the Velcro has started to fail and won’t hold. I have had several instances of the shoes flopping off as I’m walking or having to stop and redo the strap. A couple times nearly falling. The Velcro needs to be improved otherwise this would have received five stars.
