My older daughter (8y) has had a Corolle doll for 4 years. My younger daughter loves it and decided she wanted a boy doll version for herself. I bought this 1 year ago for her third birthday. Both girls love to get their girl and boy doll together for play dates.The hands and fingers are a more open pose than the other girl Mon Premier doll we have; the three year old likes getting a thumb or finger in the open lips like a real baby would suck its fingers. This boy doll is stuffed with small/mustard seed size styrofoam beads (contained in a sewn polyester bag within the doll body) so that it is quick drying after being in the water. However, my kids felt it was too floppy. I sew, so I used a seam ripper to carefully open the back seam and add larger/pea size styrofoam fills beads. This gives his body a slightly lumpier look since I didn't encase them in a polyester bag. If my daughter never wanted to get this doll wet, I would have simply added polyester fiber fill (like for stuffed animals) to plump him up. I recommend sewing up the back seam with doubled regular thread and an H-ladder stitch.Over the year we've had this boy doll, his construction has held up well to lots of play and dressing. Recently, I washed his face with hydrogen peroxide (water with an extra oxygen molecule which helps lift dirt) on a cotton ball, but that's all he's needed. We have about 4 boy outfits, like overalls, a dress jacket and bowtie, shirt and pants, etc. And I've knitted him a hat.Love that Corolle provides girl and boy options with easy to use Velcro closures.

We bought this for my son who wanted a “baby brother” and had started babying home decor items. He loves this doll! The packaging is beautiful and really feels special. There is a faint scent to the doll body. I usually detest scented things but this is subtle enough not to bother me much. The clothing is removable but not very easy for little hands to take on and off. It’s been through two bath times well. I will say that it takes longer to dry than I had hoped, but I hang it over the bathtub and not outside. I believe it’s takes a little less than two days. One thing that is disappointing, though I do understand why, but the body isn’t filled as much as I’d like. The doll flops over easily and doesn’t have any real “substance” to the body. I understand that this may be a measure to ensure a quicker drying time so the trade off is worth it. All in all we’re very happy with our purchase and our son loves his baby.

Great toy and dries fairly quickly. My daughter loves that he can suck his thumb. After his first bath Marin lost the fullness in his torso so he flops a bit and his pants don’t stay on. Doesn’t bother her but slightly sad that he has no spine.

These are just the best babies!They are soft bodied with a good beanbag weight. Nice quality. They have a wonderful soft baby smell. Perfect size for our 3, 4 & 5 year olds. By far my favorite dolls for this stage for our girls development. They have even been the preferred choice over bitty baby from American girl -per our girls.I recommend them. They are worth the price for a special birthday or Holiday gift.

I have bought a Corolle baby doll for each of my kids first birthdays. The 12 inch doll is a perfect size for them as they are young, but it is still a favorite for my 4 year old daughters! This will continue to be a go to gift for me.

I love this little doll for my baby boy. Used it the day it arrived, and he gave him a bath. Played with him in the bathtub and beat part is the baby dries nicely, so I don’t have to worry about mold. So nice!

We bought this doll for our son who loves his sister’s Corolle Calin doll. Such sweet dolls for little hands, perfect for cuddling. He is so happy and so are we! The smell is nice too, not overpowering at all.

Unfortunately, had to return the doll. The body is understaffed - the doll can't sit without support. If I knew that, I wouldn't ordered it. The picture is definitely misleading.If not that, I'd be happy to keep it. I really like the face of the doll and it smells nice.Had to look for another option for my son now.

Schöne Puppe, kann am Daumen lutschen und es macht den Kindern viel Spaß sie zu baden. Allerdings ist der Vanille Geruch alles andere als dezent, deshalb einen Punkt Abzug.
