This Stuff Works
Plastic and Super Glue don't always work, but this stuff does. Applied to the edge of an 1/8" plastic sheet, then placed in a plastic channel. A bit of pressure for about 10 seconds. A really tight bond resulted. Gave me just what I was looking for. Could not get apart the next day. Recommend.

Yes a tad bit expensive, but well worth it! Just an incredible product over your normal super glue!
This stuff is absolutely amazing! Heck, I am writing a review about "glue!"I was a bit skeptical to say the least, but I am simply blown away how well this works! It takes a bit longer to dry and cure (this just depends on amount used is all, it can dry well within a minute). I use this everywhere now and on most things that need some fixing.*Depending where you want to apply this, I would use some/little rubbing alcohol to prep and clean the surface a bit before applying this stuff.Honestly, I will not buy anymore lame "super glue" after using this product by 3M.

When the two pieces touch they are stuck .
The best glue for rubber I have seen . Contact cement application . Used on a hip boot patch .

I am attempting to repair a Car Tire side wall. Off the road people do it with 3M PR40
Some of the raters said their bottle was only 1/2 full. In the picture is a new bottle of brand X super glue on the left and 3M to the right. Both are a bit more than 1/2 full. So it is normal for the bottle to not be full.I don't know if it is going to work for my intended purpose. I am attempting to repair a Car Tire side wall that has a 1/4 inch slit in it. Off the road people do it with 3M PR40 which is why I chose it.Unlike the off the roaders that patch it from the outside I am going to (of course glue the slit together) put a radial patch on the inside and another on the outside.I also use the PR40 with an inside patch on the tread area of a tire. I am of course expecting that to work for sure. The off roaders claim that if you properly cleaned and prepared the area and let it cure for the proper time if you try to remove the patch it will rip off the parent rubber and un-bond the glue. So, it is an experiment. Please note that you are not supposed to patch the side wall of tires with something like the 1/4-inch slit. No tire place will do a patch on the side wall an on the highway vehicle and I was told it was illegal for them to do that.

Excellent bonding for HDPE to PLA.
This adhesive worked great for my project which was to bond some 3D printed (PLA) items to polyethylene (HDPE). After 24 hours of curing the two items were bonded together as if they were one. There was a lot of surface area for the connection that I was bonding so perhaps my situation was optimal for this product but I couldn't be happier with the result. There's not a lot of instructions included, so it might be helpful to know how I used the product:- I started with both surfaces to be bonded in a horizontal position. The adhesive (and the primer are very thin and runny and this is the only way to minimize the mess.- I masked off the non-bonding areas with blue painters tape to further reduce mess.- I first primed the pieces by brushing the entire (cleaned) area for be bonded with acetone. Acetone is cheap and I had some (from Home Depot) so I decided to try it as an alternative to the expensive but official 3M primer.- I applied a thin layer of adhesive to the HDPE side, spreading it about a bit with a wooden stir stick.- I joined the pieces, clamped them together and carefully wiped away the excess with a paper towel. Note that the bonding is not immediate. Out of an abundance of caution I left the clamps on for 24 hours.Maybe another process would work as well, but that worked great for me. You end up using a very small amount of adhesive so the little bottle goes farther than you might think. To be honest I had serious doubts that anything would work to bond HDPE, and was amazed at how well it ended up working. Good luck!

Great Product, worth the cost.
I have used this product to repair plastic, rubber and ceramics. It works quickly and creates an amazingly strong bond. Though the bottle is small, it takes very little product to create the bond.
