PACKTALK SHOEI ADAPTOR - Gen 2

This provides a cleaner and closer fit for my Cardo. I followed instructions. Cleaned the helmet well with isopropyl alcohol, applied the mounting plate and let it sit over night. No issues.

Fits perfectly and make the install easier.

The mount itself is very nice! The adhesive sticky piece didn’t stay very well and kept falling down. But I liked the product :) will continue to use

Fit perfect for my Shoei GT Air 2! Only negative is the 3M double sided tape they use for the mount didn't stick too well after the first time i mounted to my helmet. So i removed the original double sided tape and end up using Gorilla Glue double sided tape and works great! Haven't had any issues after using Gorilla Glue double sided tape. If you have a Shoei helmet and need to mount a Cardo this is the way to go if your helmet need a Cardo adapter.

If you’re looking for something under 20 dollars that can injure or kill you, this might be the product for you. If there were no limit on star ratings, I’d give this beauty a negative infinity. There is no reason for it to exist. What the product images don’t show is that it doesn’t snap into the space as you’d assume (or at least I did), but has the same sticky tape that the cardo comes with. So you remove the factory piece and this “piece” fits in the void. You peel and stick the tape that’s not even formed to match the plastic so much of its surface area doesn’t even contact anything. The company knows this is an issue or else they would clearly show the back part with the tape. I would have never ordered it and they know it. So anyway, I stick it on and wait a few days before even touching it after that. Then I start installing my comms. I could tell it was not sticking well, but was going on a long trip and figured that would be the test of its effectiveness. I didn’t get 300 miles before my cardo was hanging on my shoulder because this piece of junk didn’t stick. The worst part is that when it fails, it drops in a way that wedges itself under the rim of your helmet and your shoulder. You cannot turn your head in that direction. If you’ve ever seen the movie The Jerk, it’s the equivalent of the Opti-Grab. Do yourself a favor and just use the default cardo mounts. Or join the class action that should be forthcoming.

This is a great adapter made by Cardo to fit on Sena mounts found on Shoei helmets.I've been using this for almost a week now in 100°+ weather and there are zero signs of peeling or weakness. It's very solid.I think the key is to give it the 4+ hours it needs after sticking to the surface and also using alcohol to prep the surface before applying the sticker.It's doing a wonderful job in holding my Cardo Packtalk Edge in place!It's super easy to apply.This is a wonderful value for the money, especially since it's provided by Cardo directly.I do not notice any wind noise when riding at any speed with this adapter on.

The fit is just OK, not completely streamlined to the helmet (Neotec, GT Air). The adhesive is suspect, as on one of the helmets it failed after a 2 day trip. Admittedly, it was very hot outside, however, that shouldn't matter.Otherwise, it does a decent job of holding the comm unit.

Attached easily and works as intended.
