I purchased this after getting the haakaa then forking out the same price just for the haakaa lid. I thought I would give this a go as I saw it already came with a lid and was the same price as the haakaa when it was on offer (without the lid) didn’t expect much but thought it was worth a try for the price and wow. I’ve had it 6 weeks now and I have to actually look for the ‘haakaa’ writing on the other pump to know the difference between them and only use that one when this is being cleaned. I don’t know if it’s just me but it never collects less than 1.5/2oz when I feed my baby. There’s been a handful of times I’ve had to take it off because it’s too full and swap the pump. I think they are such a genius god send idea! You’re doing nothing and getting oz’s of milk! Anyway, the reason for my review is to say, do not bother getting the real thing. This is much better and half the price and already comes with a lid!!

This is the best bit of baby kit I have purchased, I wish I'd had one with my first child as I think it would have saved me a lot of time pumping and saved a lot of wasted milk! I just pop the silicone pump on the other breast when I'm feeding or using my electric pump on the other side, it's often full by the time the feed is finished and collects just as much milk as my Medela pump. The lid is great and was put to the test when I knocked the full pump over, no leaks! This particular pump is so affordable and most certainly stands up to the more expensive leading brand! I'd recommend it to all expectant mum's who are planning to breastfeed.

I already have one child and never managed to get any milk at all with my electric Medela pump. I decided to try this with my second baby to help with engorgement when the milk came in and first use got 10ml while nursing on other side (I didn’t even use for whole session!) and breast felt much better after. I’m ecstatic!! If I use this every time, I could possibly even build a supply up.So easy to use, only possible disadvantage I can see is whether a wriggly baby could kick it off during nursing but suction seems reasonable.

This product is one of the best purchases I think I have made when it comes to saving milk/expressing. I only bought it because myself and my partner were going out for the day and grandparents were looking after the baby, it was easier than using an electric pump I didn’t have to hold anything and there’s no loud annoying noise to listen to! Despite this just being something I was only going to use when we go out or if I could really do with a full nights sleep, it has become part of my routine why would I waste ounces of milk when I can save it and my little boy can have it later on down the line.The only thing I seemed to struggle with was getting my nipple in the correct position, I found if my nipple wasn’t in the right position I would only collect about 10ml - 20ml instead of 1-1.5oz and being big chested sometimes it could be a bit of a struggle.

I like that I can use this to collect milk that would otherwise be wasted. I also like that it is silent and can be used whilst my baby feeds so it doesn’t take any extra time which is great. I find that the suction isn’t strong enough for me to confidently let go of the product during feeding and it has fallen off during use several times (not ideal when it’s full of milk) so it does mean I have to hold the product with one hand during use.

I'm yet to use the product as I'm 7 months pregnant. But I have practiced with it (as have my husband and children, apparently the feeling of the suction is hilarious). Going off of other reviews it seems it will work well. I have had a variety of breast pumps with my previous children, manual hand ones, electric ones, and I find they either don't collect enough, or I cant use in sync with breastfeeding so I'm losing a lot of milk. I look forward to have my baby on one breast and this to catch the let down on the other, I also look forward to having a decent amount of milk ready pumped so dad cant get his chance at the 3 am feed! :-D

I was interested in this pump to save time on expressing milk for my little boy. I normally use an electric pump but this is difficult to use while feeding.I was unsure how suitable this pump would be for me as I never leak during a letdown when feeding. I emailed blooming tots and got a quick and informative reply. They were honest in telling me that they are most often used by mums who leak but I decided to give it a go.Delivery was fast and it is nicely packaged. It is simple to follow the instructions and use. I am able to collect over an ounce at each feed which I am pleased about. I'm sure mums who leak would collect much more.It is an inexpensive piece of kit and is easily washed. Blossoming tots were efficient and very helpful. Would definitely recommend

As someone who hated pumping and never collected much milk with an electric pump with baby one I didn’t want to waste time pumping with baby two with a toddler to run around after as well. I stumbled across this product and got it delivered on sameday - by later that evening I was collecting 10-20ml of milk per feed without any extra time or real effort! I also got a really quick and detailed response to a query via their Facebook page so good customer service too! It does take a bit of trial and practice to get it to attach properly and I’ve had a couple of spills but generally I’m really pleased with it!
