Honest Review with Instructions
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my 100-lb female German Shepherd with severe hip dysplasia because she crosses her legs badly when she walks. I use this product as well as joint medication for her. I have her wear this all day and take it off at night. I originally bought the x-large size because of another persons review but it was way to big. I ordered the large and it fits perfectly on her. The other reviews were correct when they said there was like no instructions. The company should provide that. I looked at the picture online and based the placement off of that. The waist strap should be pretty tight right before their hind legs with the ability to fit a finger comfortably. The bands should go around each leg about 2-3 inches above the ankles stopped just to go around (not super tight), but tight enough to not go above the knee. If the bands are too tight, your dog won't be able to get up or move comfortably. If they are too loose, they are pointless. It is just suppose to attach comfortably so that your dogs legs can't cross when walking. I notice that she walks better on our walks and isn't in as much pain after the walk. Most of the reviews on here are related to the wrong size, placement, or diagnosis. This is designed to help assist your dog specifically with hip dysplasia or the legs from being able to cross each other. This product does not fix your dog! The hope is that it corrects your dogs walking so that they are able to put less tension on their hips which in turn lowers the amount of pain your dog has. I hope this helps!

Seems to work very well, but No instructions
UPDATE: I’ve had this for two days. It was pretty easy to figure out how to put it on.I’ve actually noticed a difference with the way he is walking in which a short time! His legs are staying straighter and seem more stable… I’m very surprised, as I said before, I’m noticing a difference in such a short time. I leave it on him all day and take it off before we go to bed. He is actually able to jump up on our couch relatively easy and doesn’t struggle as much to get himself up.I’m going to give this another two weeks and update again. So far I’m. Wry pleased. (Still disappointed that there aren’t instructions).I purchased this for my 135 lb German Shepherd. I ordered the extra large, which seems to fit, but unsure if placement, tension are correct. This came with NO instructions, other than the outside of the bag saying to recycle and pick up pets poop. Not a single instruction. My boy is recovering from a recent unknown injury to his foot, so watching his gait isn’t reliable at this point. I do have hock supports coming for him tomorrow, to wear in conjunction with this hip dysplasia brace. All I’m able to do is hope for the best because there really isn’t any information provided, so I need to do further research on the web.It doesn’t make sense that a seller doesn’t provide any information or instructions, which makes me leary. The measurements seem appropriate, but I would say that the part to go around the thigh is a bit short. They also seem to be sliding down, even though I have the tension straps (what I think) adjusted correctly.I’ll know more in a few days, then I will update.

Poorly designed
This is not a well thought out product.....I have a 55# male, bought the L.First of all, the lack of anchoring rides down to his penis, so if he pees, he'll pee on the strap(?)Second, the picture shows the leg supports just below the hips. They're barely big enough to go around his knees(?)Returning for refund. Keep looking for better, as I will.

Helped my 12yr old GSD
This seemed to help my 12 year old GSD in the last few weeks of her life. She has since crossed the rainbow bridge and I am glad that she was able to walk a little better near the end after struggling so much before hand. Not for everyone as the other reviews state but in this case it helped.

Should be great for a lot of dogs just not ours.
This could be very helpful for a lot of dogs. But our dog is 16 and her back legs are losing muscle. We thought this might help keep her legs from splaying outward. But instead, her muscles were not strong enough to keep her legs from crossing underneath her. Will be very helpful for other dogs. Just not ours.

Helps
Once you get the fit right, the product works, but you will need to work with your dog to make sure everything is where it belongs. Doesn't help for every hip issue, but does keep my older dog more stable than without.

Does not fit or stay around Legs
The leg straps are not big enough to fit as chart and video describe where and how they should. Disappointed, was hoping to find the support for my dogs hind legs to keep them crossing and collapse out from underneath her. Material otherwise appears to be well made.

A brace for large dogs that work!
I believe in transparency, so I’m telling you when you open it up, you’re going to ask yourself why you spent this much money on this contraption. I’m going to tell you why. I have a 15 month old Rottweiler that has such severe hip and right leg pain that I prayed every night for his healing. I came across this brace and said why not try it. This product was actually brought up at a comedy show that I went to. He said he used the same brace for his dog. I put it on my dog and he did not like it. However, when he got up, he turned around and looked and realize that his leg didn’t go out from behind him, and he didn’t cry out in pain. He now had it on for 12 hours and he is able to get up and climb up and down the stairs. He also now goes outside and play with our other dog without any difficulty or pain that I can see. I plan to buy another one when this one wears out. The con of this is after all the complaints. they still do not put directions in the box. My advice to you is to click on the link of the product and watch the video on how to put it on. I have a male dog so I put it further back on his waist so he does not pee on it. Also, please measure correctly, it makes a huge difference to get the right size. I hope this honest review helped you.
