Money well spent! PLUS UPDATE 4 MONTHS LATER!
I was looking for new headphones for my wife and stumbled upon these. I liked the fact that they were on the cheaper side and she liked that they have a microphone as that was a necessity for her. She is uses them to listen to music around the house, video chat with friends and just general usage. The moment we got the package I opened it up to see what was included. The usual headset and extra ear buds were there as was the mini microphone that plugs into one of the earbuds, but to my surprise and delightment there was a headphone splitter and an extender as well. I didn't know if these were advertised, they aren't right there in the description, to come with it, cause honestly I was just looking for a headset with a mic, but they did and I am happy for it. I plugged them right into the computer and started using them. And here are my conclusions.Pros - Fit snug into the ears, the extra part of the side didn't bother my ears after i got it adjusted right. I only used them for about 20 min but they didn't feel at all like I need to push them back in or be readjusted once they were in place. - Almost noise cancelling, don't have the volume set to loud after they are set cause you only hear what comes out of them and not much else. - The cord is pretty long. Which is nice because the length of standard earbuds I feel are just to short at time, not the case here. - The cord itself doesn't seem to be to thin either, still flexible but I don't feel like it can get crimped or tied up to easily which is nice too.Cons - The earbuds themselves seem to be a bit big, maybe it was designed to have better quality in mind but they do protrude a bit out of the ear, not a huge issue to me but if you are looking for something slim this probably isn't for you. - in the bag of extra ear buds they didn't have the double layer ones. Once again it doesn't matter to me as I prefer the single bulbs better but to some people it might. Then again if you have ever owned a pair of headphones before you probably have a ton of the buds lying around, I know I do.Overall I really like these headphones, and the cons to me really meant nothing I really had to think of something that might possibly be construed as a con to someone else. We will see how well they hold up over time, if they break down real easy or have other issue I will update it, but overall I really like them. You seem to really get good bang for your buck.UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!!!So my wife never really got turned onto these so I pretty much became the sole user. I took them for using on breaks during work and when I had an opportunity to work with them in so I used them consistently for anywhere from 20 min to 4-6 hrs at a time. They stayed in my ears really well, which I haven't had from a lot of other earbuds, MEE headphones are my all-time favorite but definitely cost more $$$ than these. The tab on the side of the bud went into the side of my ear well and felt comfortable, well for a short time anyway. After anything longer than maybe 20-30 min my ears would start to ache. The buds are larger than others and they just never really seemed to fit really well for long term use. After 5 months and really the last 3 getting a lot of use these have held up really well. The cord doesn't kink like others, the sound is good and when the buds are in your ears they do an overall above average job of noise cancellation. I still never used the mic, it's a nice novelty but for the regular person I feel it brings no value to the product.I still do like them, maybe not as much as I did when I first got them but there are much worse choices for the price. I would still recommend them but only at 4 stars not 5.

The MOST comfortable and versatile earbuds on the market!!
I have gone through so many earbuds, it's ridiculous. I simply could no longer deal with the large clumsy white ones that come with the iPhone. I needed something light, small enough to fit inside my ear, yet large enough to remain in my ear during movement. I can literally use these earbuds for EVERYTHING. They are perfect for running/treadmill, the ear holder accessory is soft and flexible and you are provided two sizes to choose from. The earbuds themselves have a built-in microphone and controls, but included is a detachable microphone with some cool features (adjustable and noise cancelling). So you can use it with a smart phone or with a laptop for video conferencing. Also included in the box is a PC attachment, which means it can be used for gaming and if your microphone/speaker inputs are located in the back of your PC Vogek has also included an extensions cord, even though the earbuds themselves are built with a long length cord. Lastly, and I am sure this won’t be a selling point for most of you…. But it certainly is for me… The box.. Yes, the box that these earbuds come in also serves as a carry-all carrying case. After I unboxed all the accessories and use my earbuds, I put them right back in the box they were shipped in that way I don’t lose them or any of the accessories that came with them.

Great multiuse earbuds.
Got this for gaming but found it actually works great for use on the bus, flights, or subway. Good amount of volume negates the need of a headphone preamp/DAC. Fits well, the fossa "hook" holds the earbuds in place nicely. The plug in microphone is redundant as there is a microphone in the volume control switch, and earbuds are tuned to work better with that microphone. The plug in microphone lacks bass so the sound is pitchy and prone to pops. Neat idea but poor execution and not really necessary, the built in mic works just fine on its own.

Good function, low quality build and sound quality
I read several reviews on Amazon before making my headset purchase. One thing that wasn't discussed much was the quality of the audio through this headset. So I want to touch on that before covering the rest of it. If you've ever used a set of Apple Earpods, then these will sound about 60% as good as those. This Gaming headset lacks base and sounds very tinny and hollow. With that said, these aren't the worst sounding headphones that I've every used. They blow the cheap sets from the dollar store out of the water. However, they do lack some range when compared with Apple Earpods. One thing that surprised me was the build quality of the headset. It's made out of very cheap plastic that looks like something from the dollar store. While the plastic is clearly very cheap, it doesn't feel fragile. So that's a plus.I primarily use this headset with a Xbox One. So that's the bulk of my experience. The in-line volume controls do not work with the Xbox. I also noticed that I get some crackling if the cable moves while I'm using the headset. I also can hear a bit of feedback from my voice. Other people say that I sound fine, but not outstanding. It seemed to be about the same with the microphone extension or without. On the plus side, you do get a lot of accessories in this bundle. It includes an adapter that makes it compatible with a PC. It also comes with several sets of buds that are varying sizes. The headset itself does a good job of blocking out external noise, but doesn't block it out completely. If you're looking to use this as just a chat headset while you're listening to sound from your TV, then this headset probably blocks too much. The cord length is on the longer side. And there is an extension if that doesn't meet your needs.Final thoughts would be that this is a reasonable headset considering the price. The sound quality is actually not bad considering that we are dealing with a $12 headset. The build quality could be better, and it's not great that I get feedback through the mic. However it would be hard to beat this headset for this price.
