Turtle Brush with Suction Cup for Tank, Three High Suction Power Suction Cup Turtle Shell Cleaning Brush, White

Saw this recommended on the reddit.com/r/redearedsliders subreddit. It's exactly what I was looking for after a less-than-stellar experience with another brand that has one larger suction cup that does not stick to the tank. Out with the old, in with the new, this thing is unstoppable. Has not detached from the tank since I put it in, despite my turtle's best efforts/back scratching routine. A win for all involved.

Tortise did not like and did not use. Does not stick to plastic (housed in a feed trough).Is an okay product, does stick to glass very well.I like the actual quality of the item but I wish it had a different base. If there was an option for the bottom to have an adhesive that is smaller then the current base I think it would work. Maybe something that can be adjusted similar to long car phone holders so there is enough space for Turtles and Tortises to get under it.It was a neat idea so she could scratch herself but she prefers humans to scatch he shell. Tooth brushes work for manual brushing.

The suction didn't work well as my turtle was able to knock it off the glass.

My turtles, for when it actually sticks, liked using it, but as much as I wanted to love this product, I can't say it works well. The suction cups would never stick. But, I think what the problem is, is that suction cups just don't like to work underwater. Even my basking platform's bottom suction cups never stay on, but the top ones work just fine, since they're out of the water. And just like my water temperature probe's suction cup only works out of the water. I wish there was another solution instead of using suction cups. I haven't used it in a long time, since it's no good when it's just floating in the water.

Normally when you buy something with suction cups for a turtle they make it their job to knock it off. Not this brush! The length and width are perfect for my fully grown yellow bellied sliders. They really like it, so I highly recommend. It has been 3 days and they still have not made it become unstuck.

Unfortunately it doesn't work with suction cups that come with it.

My Turtle likes using this brush as he swims. I can see him swimming frequently where the brush has been placed.
