My Mom and I have smaller hands so it is wonderful. Her hands are more fragile with arthritis so she does the lighter intensity and no heat but I like the male version, highest level with heat. The compression feels great on my hands!

Compression yes. Massager no. If you’re looking for something to hit pressure points and ease tension this isn’t it. If you’re feeling tight and need compression. This is your shtick. However, for my carpel it doesn’t do much. Probably returning it

It worked well 10-15 times. It then stopped working. 30+ minutes of Amazon chat “help” was no help. They referred me finally to seller’s chat “help” that was also no help. I wish it had kept working. It helped my hands when it did.

I bought this hand massager after reading it's recommendation on the NYT Wirecutter. I bought it through the Nooro website which offers discounts. I did have problems with shipping but did received the unit in about a month after ordering. As far as liking the massager - it's a godsend! Having carpal tunnel in both wrists along with damage to one hand in a table saw accident, the unit provides noticeable improvement to both hands.
