Bought 2 of them to ship my small Tortoises in... Perfect size.

perfect for a betta

Purchased the super large version of this pen for my african clawed frog last year. One of the back hinges was broken in shipment and couldn't be repaired, so I had to make do with duct tape for awhile. Which worked somewhat, but it was awkward to open the lid, so I decided to get another pen recently. Well, that one arrived with only one hinge in the box. (Can't fathom why the company doesn't tape the hinges to the lid or something to keep them from rattling around in the box during shipping.) And the main reason I decided to get another one of these is because I thought they were the nicest looking small aquariums out there. I still think so, and love the way it looks on my table. The blue color really sets it off and in no way distorts the contents inside, and the lid can snap closed either all the way down or partially, to make opening easier. P.S. I got the lid to fit perfectly on my new pen by taking the one good hinge off the old one and putting it on this one so now everything is fine. But be forewarned that if you do buy this item, the hinges are not always as they should be in the package.

8-12 Decent size, but very flimsy. First one arrived without hinges and had to be replaced by Amazon. I would not recommend this.---------------------8-13 I just went from 2 star to one star. I would give minus-one-star if I could.The SECOND tank broke...cracked...the FIRST time I opened it right where the hinge attaches to the plastic.This is cheap flimsy plastic with metal hinges which put too much stress on the plastic. My little mouse is temporarily back in a shoe box until I can go into town and buy a decent tank for her.This was a waste of money. DO NOT BUY.

I love this, I have two of the .5 gallon and just ordered the next size up, and have used them to transport my fish and house death feigning beetles. It also is a great size for transporting hamsters and gerbils to the vet, maybe young rats as well. However please please please understand that this isn’t an appropriate size home for any creature except pet insects and arachnids (the three gal could also hold a Betta, that’s their minimum tank size). But please do not permanently house any rodents in this little container, it’s far too small. Again though, great for bugs! The lid is super secure (much better than Kritter keepers) and the vents are small enough to where not even small bugs can get out. Love it!

The top is a little flimsy, but it did the job of transporting my fish half way cross country!

I ordered two of these. Amazon shipped them loose in a box with only a small amount of crumpled paper to protect them. The plastic these are made of is very brittle and easily breaks if they suffer any impact at all. One of the two was completely broken and unusable. Amazon required me to ship both back to get a replacement and I needed a replacement faster than that would work. So I simply ordered another one instead. The one I ordered arrived with a 2" crack but was usable.These are great critter containers but they are so brittle and fragile Amazon needs to package them much more carefully!

I purchased this container back in May for one of my tarantulas. I like the way the front bows out, allowing for extra space as I modified the back wall with foam, rocks, dirt, and moss to give a more tropical feel to the enclosure. Enclosure had space to put in a nice little ceramic bowl, so my T could have a swimming pool and more humidity. I also love the clear window on the lid as it gives me more vantage points to spy on resident. The only reason this product did not receive five stars is because one of the plastic hinges for the lid was snapped when it arrived, and sometimes the lack of that hinge can be a pain in the rear (which causes some stress on my already skittish tarantula)

Möglicherweise ein Transportschaden aber man könnte es sicherer verpacken. Der Preis ansich ist sehr günstig für diese Qualität. Mehr als 3 Sterne kann ich nicht geben.

Compré el pequeño, no lo recomendaría como habitat permanente de ningún animal (ni siquiera un pez betta, por favor), pero es una perfecta casita temporal para mis caracoles Helix Aspersa, llegó en buen estado y rápido, nada estaba dañado.Lo uso solo de cuarentena y cumple bien su papel para ser un precio tan accesible.Aunque no guarda bien la humedad, si tienes un animal que necesita mucha humedad tendrás que estar rociando seguido.

Parfait ! Pour moi, c'est vraiment le meilleur aquarium pour un Betta ou couple de Killis.Joli, bonne taille, très bon rapport qualité-prix.Je recommande. :)

Having broken two large glass goldfish bowls, I was keen to try a non-breakable container. I purchased this in the deep pink version. It is lightweight and lovely with ample space for my two goldfish. It is easy to clean and sparklingly clear when clean. Indeed the water may get dirty between cleaning but the bowl remains crystal clear. It has a good sized opening in the lid for feeding the fish and the lid is easily removable for cleaning. The pack included decorative items which I chose not to use as I like to see the clarity of the water and the goldfish themselves.
