I don't normally do reviews but feel this deserves it.Comes well packaged and protected, accessories included are power cables, exhaust pipe and silencer with bracket, very flexible outlet hose, feet, screws, hose clips and the remote control (with batteries in it) plus instructions.The unit is fully assembled ready for use apart from the exhaust etc, it has an elbow already fitted fro the exhaust that points out sidways under the unit to the left side ( I removed this as it sits on a shelf with the exhaust going straight down and then out the wall.It fired up within a few seconds of turning it on without the need to prime the system. The remote is already paired to the controller.Heat output is very good, having no problem heating my double garage from 14c to 22c in less than an hour.The bluetooth app took a few attempts to find the controller initially but it connects straight away now.Once connected the current time updated on the controller.App has either output mode (1 - 10) or temperature mode (8 - 36c) with a start and stop timer and the option to AUTO start stop with temperature, that right this heater will go to standby when the temperature is reached not just go to a low output, it will then turn back on when the temperature drops, total game changer and how these should be (only seen that option in aftermarket controllers)The fuel tank holds about 5 litres but the lid is vented so don't tip it over when there's fuel in it (would be good to have a screwed vent plug not just a hole but I understand the cost implications)The controller it mounted with a bracket on the front and is removable but doesn't have much cable, only about 150mm slack.It's quiet enough when running with the pump barely audible over the fan.Instructions aren't the best but OK.Time will tell on how reliable it is regarding sooting up (the start stop should help with that) as it only arrived today but have to say I'm very pleased with it. Would definitely recommend it.

Complete rubbish , works great out of the box, 3-4 uses later completely failed , 03-ignition failure , ok maybe I can open it and replace glow plugs but why should I bother !! It’s Supposed to work all the time not just 4 times and die , avoid this completely

This is the second diesel heater I have brought, compared to my first one this runs alot quiter. Can't hear the fuel pump at all. Only let down is that on android Google will not allow you to download the Bluetooth app due to security. App does work on Apple devices.

Excellent silent light and small

I have had 6 Chinese diesel heaters in the past ,so I bought a sunstar heater and today was the first startup all I can say is this heater is quiet and gives out a fair heat too can't fault it as it is absolutely the best heater hope it stays like this again really good well worth it

The item was faulty an electrical issue and fuel leaking out of the fuel tank. I had also a feeling the item was previously owned as it had batteries in remote control which it clearly stated they were not included. I returned the item the 9th of December and I still have not been issued a refund. I have tried to check my refund progress but al i am getting is refund requested. I had to pay a further 30euro to register to return to Amazon

This is my 1st diesel heater, I have freinds with similar heaters so I am aware that they can have issuesI am very very disappointed with the following points1, the expanding outlet hose is a pain in the butt to fit, the lip on the heater outlet it fits over to secure it is barely long enough2, it took me 17 attempts to get the app to connect to the control panel,even ppl with experience could not get it to work , I almost returned the unit to amazon I was so peed off3, the instructions are about as much use as breasts on a fish4, the pictures of the heater on amazon and others sellers websites very clearly show the exhaust muffler connected directly to the heater outlet exhaust pipe manifold, this is completely impossible as the exhaust outlet pipe is the same size diameter as the exhaust muffler, THIS IS A MAJOR ADVERTISING MISREPRESENTATION AND IS VERY VERY MISLEADING, the provided extension pipe has to be used in order to connect the muffler and that's not what I bought this for5, initially the heater would not power up when connected to a battery, the fault was traced to the ring terminal being crimped onto the end of the earth wire on top of the insulation because the inner core had not been exposed when it was crimped ( I just put a new ring terminal CORRECTLY6, there is no breather hole/vent in the fuel tank filler cap, only time will tell if this causes a vacuum in the fuel tank, on the plus side fuel won't leak out the cap while the heaters being transported in the boot of ya car7, it's not possible to get any help from sunster themselves, they don't reply back on Facebook and they don't answer the phone eitherI don't have high hope for this thing lasting very long at all, only time will tell so watch this space for any updatesNow for the good bit, when its finished priming the pump then the pump is almost silent ( bonus )

Add fuel, connect to power supply and off you go. Very quiet pump. Used to heat 8m x 2.5m outbuilding.
