Used this to replace worn out tape on my dashcam. Make sure to clean the previous surface good before applying the tape otherwise it will not hold. The old adhesive is sometimes difficult to remove and my first try and new adhesive failed. But after cleaning the surface much better the second time, it has been holding pretty well. 3 months later and it is still holding good.

I recently got a new car, and needed to transfer my dashcam from the old car to the new car. My dashcam only came with the one original sticker to hold it in place on the windshield, so I needed a strong adhesive to keep the dashcam in place. I tried a couple other double sided tapes, but the dashcam kept falling off my windshield. I decided to give these a try, and I'm so glad I did. They work perfectly and keep my dashcam in place on my windshield. The stickers come in a couple sizes, and you can easily trim it to the right size to fit your needs. I bought these to stick my windshield camera on the glass since the camera manufacturer's sticky things just wouldn't hold it up. No good. It held onto the glass just fine but would NOT hold on the plastic camera mount. I tried many different products and methods, all failed. I ended up super-gluing a magnet to the camera mount and sticking the other magnet to the remaining 3M sticky thing on the windshield, and so far so good.EDIT 6/30/2025: THE COMPANY WAS KIND ENOUGH TO REFUND MY PURCHASE IN FULL DESPITE THE FACT THAT I HADN'T READ THE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY WHICH TELLS US TO WAITH 48 HOURS BEFORE MOUNTING! VERY IMPORTANT!

I used this to mount a dash cam to my windshield. I live in a desert climate, and my car is often parked facing the sun with all the windows closed—so it gets really hot inside. I was worried the heat might soften the tape and cause the dash cam to fall, but after several months, it’s still holding strong with no signs of failure.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Needed adhesive sticky pads for Dash Cam. I read that 3M VHB Heat Resistant adhesive was the best on the market. This product failed me repeatedly no matter what I did. It couldn't hold up to even mild morning heat much less 90 degree summer days. I learned that "3M" does not necessarily mean that the product is made by the 3M company. It is produced by many companies as a "similar to" product. Went straight to the original manufacturer and haven't had a problem since. Buyer beware.

Very sturdy. Easy to trim to fit and adhere. Love that it also comes with a secondary tape to ensure a secure and solid adhesion as object sets in place (just like using a vice with glue). Would buy again
