Kingdom Come: DC Compact Comics Edition Paperback – 6 May 2025

Fantastic art and a fantastic story.

Definitely one of the best comics I’ve read,finished it in two days .

It's not all that great overall. The art is very difficult to read and lacks clarity to me. The plot is decent overall, but I fell like it needs to be redone as it feels like a draft of something hat could be epic.

Great price even better novel, nice edition loads of extra content

Kingdom come by Mark Waid is set in a world where a new younger generation of superheroes have attempted to fill the void left by the Justice League. However this new generation of heroes are more reckless with their actions, prompting the likes of Superman, Wonder Woman and, other members of the League to step in and, try and restore order.The writing by Mark Waid is superb and, the storyline is little bit similar the Injustice comics. Except in Kingdom Come Superman doesn't become a dictator.The artwork by Alex Ross is very impressive, once again bringing DC's characters to life beautiful with highly detailed panels. Overall a must read epic.

What more could be said about this, great art and a timeless story, it’s been said a thousand times so what are you doing looking at this review but the book, also there’s a lot of extras, Alex Ross goes through how he drew every character (and there’s a lot)
