This is a VERY sturdy and heavy-duty rack. As others have mentioned, assembly and size adjustment requires pressing the metal button through a line of holes, but I didn’t find that to be a problem.Ultimately I returned this, since I didn’t up needing it for my particular ac model, but if you need one, this would be an excellent choice.

This is incredibly easy to setup and install! I've bought a few different kinds and this is definitely the most sturdy and supportive air conditioner bracket. I am a single person, living alone and I was able to put it together, install it, and set my airconditioner up by myself. I highly recommend this brand and style of airconditioner bracket!

Trust me when I say, do not even bother with the other brackets out there from Home Depot or Lowes or wherever that require drilling holes and don’t always work with your window type. Pay the extra money and order this one. It is SO easy, secure, and will not mess up your window. Worth every penny.

I'm using this bracket with an 8K BTU Frigidaire model that weighs about 55lbs. The bracket itself is all steel and perfectly sturdy: it supports my window AC with ease. It was pretty easy to assemble. Yes, you will have to push those buttons in a lot to get it into position, but that doesn't take long, and it's a one-time deal.More consideration could be taken for weather-sealing the underside of the AC with this bracket. My Frigidaire has a sizable gap underneath that I had to be a bit creative with.I also have to ding Amazon and/or seller DBROTH for the condition it came in. I ordered this New, and what arrived was clearly a return. The packaging was poorly re-taped, there was a large hole in the side, and there were already-cut zip-ties inside. The box still contained all parts, and the bracket itself was in good condition still, but I do expect New-condition items to arrive in better condition than this.

Easy install instructions. My ac is heavy so it did the job of holding it in the frame. Took a few adjustments to get the ac to lean back properly.

Very happy with the bracket! I ordered the repackaged bracket and I realized whybit was returned in the 1st place. The frame where the extension goes was slightly warped and couldn't slide in. We were able to manipulate it and then success! Feels secure and strong. Will revise if anything happens later.

It was very easy to assemble. Our ac unit is massive and was threatening to fall out of the window possibly taking the window with it. It had massive gaps prior as well. This created a solid base for the unit to rest on and made a very nice seal along the bottom window frame. It’s very expensive, especially considering the single arm bracket is only $25, but I’m very happy we got it.

Structurally sturdy, however the extension arms had defective push buttons.....they were not attached and just loose inside the arms.. also, the rubber pads should have been glued or permanently attached to the feet. They slip off the feet under pressure as it shifts under pressure.I would have given less stars, but didn't need the extension arms that came defective in the box.
