Resolva 24H Concentrated Weed Killer, 1 Litre

Because this has a combination of TWO weed killers (Diquat and Glyphosate) it delivers a double hit !I used Weedol for many years (30 +) when it was in pellet form in packets, but that was just Diquat and although it killed the weeds very quickly, sometimes in one day. weeds like dandelion used to reappear so you tended to have to treat weeds every week or so, depending on the weather.Resolva still kills those weeds quickly but the Glyphosate is taken down into the roots of weeds like dandelions so that they don't reappear, and to be honest I have only treated my garden once since 1 June and it is now 14 August with only a few weeds appearing, which have been easily hand weeded, a BIG improvement on previous years.You have to remember that the Diquat is the "fast" weed killer (1 day plus) and thet Glyphosate is the "slow" weed killer which could take a week or more - but all this depends on the weather... mainly sunshine, so don't expect instant results if the weather is dull, as plants (weeds or not) really slow down growth in dull weather and therefore wont take in the weed killer round their system very fast.Resolva DOES work and works very well, but DEPENDING on the weather !

I am basing this review on having had it before because the one just ordered unfortunately arrived having leaked out. Amazon are replacing it. I use this around the whole of the garden whenever I see any difficult weeds. Within 24hrs you see anything you've used it on showing signs of dying. Then I just leave it alone to get on with it. I know it quite expensive but I have found it to be very effective and being concentrate it lasts a long time.

Like most weedkillers it doesn't come cheap but I've used this product in the past and found it effective. The allotment I acquired was six foot high in nettle and the product totally destroyed this and other weeds in a short space of time. At home hand weeding gravel paths or similar is a real pain. So much easier and quicker to spray now and then with this and the job is done!

It kills weeds well and keeps them at bay for a few months - before they start growing again - which is exactly what it says will happen. So is a good product and easy to apply using our sprayer. Very prompt delivery. Would buy again from this seller.

I have given only 3 stars as whilst I am sure that the product does what it says the fabric of the container is poor and mine arrived with minor leakage. Amazon had placed in a polythene bag. Had to decant into another container. A radio was also in the same box and this was fine.

In truth it gets to work within 24hr but they're still there in the morning. However it cleared everything growing between my crazy paving and keeps them gone, it takes approx. a week. I used to buy the small tubes but this better value. I mixed the solution in a pump pressure sprayer with a triggered lance which made the job easy. Once cleared it's easy to keep the weeds at bay, whenever anything green pops up a quick spray and I'm done.

Great product, easy to use, and does what it says on the bottle! The measuring cap showing the limits makes it clear and easy to use.

Bought this as my previous weed killer was not working well and this claimed the difference would be noticed within 24 hour hours. It lied! I gave one patch 2 soakings within 5 days and the weeds still looked like triffids. Last week, I took advantage of the hot weather and used doubled the strength on a different patch. Three days later, most weeds started to look distressed but some were still flourishing. I feel I wasted my pension on this product as I've been gardening for over 45 years and this is the least effective weed killer I have ever used.
