Had to modify the holes as some have mentioned, and went to Oriley Auto pts for a longer battery bolt, but no big deal... Works great! Easy to use!

The 2012 Acura MDX radio clock has a software glitch and does not connect to GPS to get real time. Twice a year I have to disconnect battery to reset radio clock for DST or ST. This battery switch allows power to be on or off without messing with battery terminal connection. Very easy to install and happy with installation and oprertion. Plus it looks professional and well built. Also installed fiber washers and used terminal cleaner/sealer via separate purchases (see attached photo for completed installation).

Was unable to use this on the side mount battery!It has the wrong type bolt threads to be able to attach it correctly !!Otherwise it might have worked

Just what I was looking for. Used this on my old truck which has a slow battery drain. Had a knife switch on it but the switch just wore out and I wanted something a bit more robust. Connected right up to the post and easily attached to the original side mount negative cable. It appears to be good quality and looks like it will hold up much better than that knife switch. Good value. Switch has a positive feel and solid click.
