A beautiful, powerful and easy-to-use and set up monitor from BenQ
I bought this BenQ 27” monitor for my photography and work projects. It is a fabulous monitor. My old Apple Studio monitor finally died and I wanted to find a less expensive new monitor with better connections to my MacBook Pro including better color profiling options. The BenQ met all my expectations and more. It is easy to set up and connect directly to my laptop. The 90 watt USB C connection powers your laptop and other devices. It just works easily and gives you a beautiful display with their advanced matte screen. I was leery of a matte screen, but it’s gorgeous. Images and text look very sharp with advanced display options with downloadable software from BenQ. And the price is great compared to an Apple Studio monitor.

Exceptional Picture Quality attached to Mac Mini 4 at a reasonable price
Exceptional quality. I moved from an older iMac with a 5k Retina display ( so spoiled with picture quality) to a Mac Mini 4 and needed a display. Not willing to pay the high prices for the Apple 5K display which costs almost as much as a complete iMac and couldn't even justify the pretty high prices for the non-Apple 5k displays available, I was looking for an alternative. Watched a lot of reviews on YouTube as well as did a lot of reading and came across this Benq MA270U. Understanding that it is 4K and also the issues that you run into with Mac scaling it seemed like everyone was extremely pleased with this display. I set it up last night and was immediately impressed from the build quality to the amazing picture quality. I don't have the retina display to compare side by side, but compared to a new Dell S2725QC on my wife's computer this is head and shoulders above. I did have to spend a little bit of time with the Display Pilot 2 software to get everything working the way I wanted. ( example: I wanted to be able to use the keyboard brightness and volume controls, and they did not work immediately) In fairness to the Dell comparison, this display is more expensive and the Dell is nice, it is just this is way better. One advantage the Dell has over this, is the convince USB slot on the bottom of the display. The BenQ has a single USB-A that is not particularly easy to get at. The Dell has a USB-A and Usb-C that drop down from the bottom of the display with push of a button, making it easier to access. That is the only slight negative that I have come across. You will not be sorry, especially for the price. Highly recommend.

Great build and picture quality
So far the monitor works out great for me, the resolution is great and the overall build looks very high-end. I use it for daily coding and browsing tasks and can't complain about the quality.

Great Monitor
The size, appearance, and MacBook compatibility of this monitor are all excellent!I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of one annoying thing, which is that you can't turn off USB-C charging while your laptop is plugged into the monitor. Since keeping your laptop plugged in all the time isn't great for its battery health, and my MacBook Air doesn't have an HDMI port, I'll have to use an HDMI to USB-C converter to use the monitor without charging my laptop. Such a converter is quite cheap, but I'm still rather annoyed because it seems like toggling USB-C charging on and off would be an easy feature to implement.

Amazing !
Outstanding picture, and great value. I love how great the color accuracy is and how amazing the picture is. Great brightness, perfect size and much less expensive than an Apple monitor.

Very nice mid range monitor that works well with Apple
My wife had to let her 27" iMac go and moved to an Mac Mini M4 and so I tried to buy the best monitor I could afford because the iMac one was spectacular. She had no complaints moving to this one (surprising, she's particular). Everything worked as advertised. Speakers are adequate for what she does. I did hope to use the USB hub more, but even with the "always on" enabled, the Mac Mini seems to have problems with some devices, like the back-up hard drive had issues until I plugged it into the Mini. Probably an Apple issue rather than an BenQ issue. Anyways, zero complaints from the wife so that's 5 stars right there.

Impressed with the quality
Im really impressed with the quality of this monitor, I know its not a 5k , but its mac accurate, I just had to plug it in and thats it, I had to return another monitor I just got (VA panel) because I had a terrible eye strain, thats not the case with this monitor which is easy on my eyes. This is an IPS monitor, i got the 32 inch and even though is 4k the image is still clear and sharp, I'm using BetterDisplay to set this at 2720 X 1530 which provides 97.5 PPI (compared to my MBP 16 inch at 1496 × 967 which is 110 PPI) my eyes can not tell the difference, I know if you are a designer/photographer and need color accuracy, go with the most expensive ones or even a studio display (5K), but for the average joe, this is more than sufficient.apart from that, the screen does not reflect the light like my MBP does, really a nice addition.as I said, if you have a MBP and want a monitor with a similar color and image as the MBP offers, get this one which has a reasonable price.the only think i don't like is the back VESA design which is circular, I would prefer a square VESA design but thats a minor detail, in summary this monitor exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it.

Decent Monitor, But Hard to Compete with Studio Display
I purchased the BenQ MA270U 27” 4K monitor to use as a secondary display alongside my Apple Studio Display. While the monitor is fine overall, it doesn’t quite meet the same level of quality as the Studio Display, which admittedly sets a very high bar.One of the selling points of this monitor is its M-Book color mode, which is supposed to match the color profile of MacBooks. However, I found the colors don’t quite align with the Studio Display, even after tweaking settings. It’s not bad, but the difference is noticeable, possibly because the Studio Display is significantly brighter. That said, as a standalone monitor, the BenQ MA270U is perfectly adequate. The 4K resolution is crisp, and it performs well for general use. However, if you're pairing it with a Studio Display or have high expectations for color accuracy and brightness, it might feel a little underwhelming.
